- Congratulations to our incredible Class of 2022! At our 134th Commencement, Mills College recognized the achievements of our students and conferred upon them the rights, privileges, and responsibilities of a Mills degree.
Addressing the Class of 2022 were Mills President Elizabeth L. Hillman; Chair of the Board of Trustees Kathleen Sanborn ’83; senior student speaker LJ Miranda ’22; graduate student speaker Trinity Wilson MBA/MA ’22; and this year's Commencement speaker, Jesmyn Ward, MacArthur "Genius" Grant recipient and two-time National Book Award winner.
