Between 1:53 - 2:00 you can see the links are installed incorrectly. The offset is to attach to the swaybar; Per the instructions, Install photos, and our Instagram DMs with you. You have the Driver & Passenger side links swapped. Glad those Eibach links worked out for you none the less. 👍
As I clearly stated in the video they were initially installed incorrectly as per your instructions hence why I didnt try to argue the fact that the bushings wore out the first time. However, after the new bushings were installed and the links were installed correctly as you can see between 4:42 - 5:46 and explained between 7:25 - 8:40 they still failed so the bushings for those links are not the best. You guys make great products but unfortunately these end links just don’t hold up with those rubber bushings.
@@Srtfiedofficial Having the offsets wrong initially may have elongated your OE strut hole, causing that noise & failure to persist. The polyurethane bushing would not stand a chance in that case, We do greatly appreciate your feedback. Also, just for reference on those Eibach links - these are installed incorrectly. Those tapered metal bushings are to sit against the heim joints per Eibachs instructions. That bushing is installed on the outside of your swaybar, not against the joint ( 10:37 ) in the video. The strut/ swaybar should not be making direct contact with the heim joint. Those bushings are there to allow free movement of the joints. This could cause future failures and more damage to your strut. Hope this helps.
Yea I adjusted them and installed them correctly a few days later after this video and haven’t had any issues with my sway bar end links clunking since then even though the clunking stopped after the initial install of the eibach links.
The eibach links are installed incorrectly as well, that taped spacer should be on both sides of the heims, not on the opposite side of the sway bar as shown at 10:40
In watching the video, the eibach front end links were not installed correctly. The mis-alignment spacers should be on the front side of the heim joint, e.g. sandwiched on the raceway. You have one of the spacers on the backside mount. The spacer orientation in the video, the end link is unable fully articulate.
Thanks for the info however i didnt have any more issues with the endlinks after i installed the eibach endlinks and never had any drivability or handling issues after install.
@@Srtfiedofficial for sure. And I read how you had no issues. It’s bizarre. I wonder if Eibach has their instructions wrong. Initially, they only included 4 misalignment spacers when I purchased the links directly from them.
Maybe, or maybe the spacers placement or location is negligible to the operation of those endlinks as each vehicle is different when it comes to swaybar movement under load and etc. so those endlinks may not articulate to the point where the placement becomes a factor.
The rear ones were already changed as with the Bwoody links they came in a front and rear set. The rear ones never gave me an issue so the front is what I focused on and replaced. In regard to why, because I was slowly upgrading all the OEM components in the suspension and since I had a set of drag wheels, I needed a shortened set in the rear for the wheels to fit.
They’re definitely stronger but they arent lighter. The shortened ones i have in the back are just slightly heavier but the front ones definitely weight about a pound or so more
Hopefully you can answer this concern. I just installed the sway bar and the end links, but I hear a slight clunking noise when driving between 20 and 40 miles an hour on bumpy roads. Do you hear the same if you still have them installed on your car.
I dont have the scat anymore but when i installed them my clunk issue went away. But it sounds to me that you may need to tighten your swaybar endlinks or get new ones as the ones you have are faulty.
@@Srtfiedofficial these are brand new eibach swaybar links with the eibach end links. Also eibach shocks and lowering springs. Everything is to spec. I did it yesterday.

The Eibachs are a step up in technology, you can adjust the length while they are on the car. You can dial in the pre load on the sway bar to zero on both ends. Those Bwoody links, because they are fixed length, can unbalance the sway bar a little bit depending on how the corners are weighted. This is important if you want to take your car out for track time, auto crossing, or
Yes those were my front end links. I do still have the bwoody end links in the rear and the rear ones are holding up good. The rear ones arent under as much stress as the front ones are.
@@Srtfiedofficial I figured I ordered a set and when comparing endlinks the front ones were solid links and didn’t have any swivel or joints like the stock ones did so I left my stock ones on, now the rear ones where somewhat identical to the oem except a lot more thicker so I went and added those on

Bwoody suggest you grease the fitting every oil change.
The fittings were very well greased! Their endlink grommets are just poor quality. Ive had a few friends who had the same issues with their end links.
I believe you and appreciate the video; you helped me eliminate them for suspension use for sure. @@Srtfiedofficial
The Eibachs are great for starting out with no pre load on your sway bar. They’re great for when you corner weight your car.

Well if you’re hearing a clunk then something is obviously not to spec or you have a part that is bad regardless if its new or not.
So did these eibach solid style mounts ride well compared to bushings ?

Not the sway bar bushings but definitely the ball joints and tie rods

The eibach website

Any feedback on the eibach end links ? I’ve replaced the oem links about 3 times now and they still keep going out.
