Relaxing video. Interesting how in Florida the weather is warm and sunny, and suddenly in Virginia, it goes full winter mode, with snow and freezing temperatures.
For weather freaks like me you are a god send. I mean elevation temp everything is here, even snow. Im currently starting in South Carolina and going upwards waiting to see when the snow starts to show up. Im thinking its probably a little north of the VA boarder but i will SEE!! Glad i subbed you.
3:01:45 I’m pretty sure this is where the first snow specks begin, but it could just be trash. 3:06:10 Next to that truck is the first specks of certain snow.
Always admire your work Unclecoolie. The gradual transition from 26 in FL to -1 in VA is superb. 130Km/h in interstate? Really? I did a 1500Km/day, 2 days in total like yours last summer from Northern Denmark to Southern Greece with a Garmin dash cam mini but I'm tool lazy to edit and upload. It contains a super storm outside Belgrad with thunders and roads like rivers and traffic jamming and cars in the water up to the mid of the door. Hopefully I'll do it.
Buddy, you have A LOT more patience than me! I could never travel up a road with so many traffic lights, knowing I had over 1,000 miles to drive! I'd be jumping on I-95 first chance I could, and setting the cruise control to 70-75 mph!
I recorded this using the Garmin Virb Ultra 30, which records GPS information. The Virb software extracts the GPS data and puts it on the video to my choosing, and I do all of the rest of the editing using Final Cut Pro. I bring my MacBook with an external hard drive to back up the 512 GB micro SD card that I use each night. I create the graphic overlays separately and add them when I edit the video.

so bad to see that there is a lot of junk on the sides of the highway, but that is the case here in the Netherlands but also in the rest of the world. and beautiful route especially in the snow. If here in the Netherlands there is snow on the roofs of cars or on the windows, we will be fined 240 euros
Uncle. Can I make a suggestion please. In these Fast fwd videos can we get some music playing? I love these videos but feel weird watching a video with no sound. Maybe loop some road noise lol.
Thank you. I've wondered about what audio to add to these. I can't use copyright music, and I've had a hard time finding hours of free music, which is why I've only had music on my hyper-lapse videos. I might add some road noise to my next time lapse video.
Why no loop around Richmond? Have done DC and Philly to south Florida several times and never once actually went through Richmond... Also I've driven extensively through and around the northeast and there is not a single worse experience than 95 between Fredericksburg and the Capital Beltway, especially in dicey weather.
@@Yazmania It's interesting that when I first start driving and I'm not quite into the experience yet, it seems long; but then after several hours and with area changing, I get into a groove that lasts for days. My family and I (from Paraguay, Southamerica) are planning to go and have this very same driving adventure. From Miami to Virginia. Anyone I can contact to get advices like where to stay during night or what to consider going with 3 kids (6,5 & 1 yo)
I'm suprised to see how cloudy and cold Florida can be at times. I fancied it a tropical paradise with sunshine and heat the whole year. But that's probably a naive european conception.
In the wintertime it's usually very sunny in Florida, and it's the driest time of the year there. But cold fronts come through which bring clouds and rain on some days. It was between two different cold fronts when I was in Miami (which is why it was so cold on the way down, and why it got cold once I got to Georgia and the Carolinas).
Hey man! Nice video you made, when you going to Miami to Herndon. Your video really taking about 3 hours and 55 minutes. That was playback speed you made.

what kind of car do you have? how many miles now? must be a lot, so I hope you're driving something reliable!
I mostly use rental cars. I drove a Chrysler Pacifica for this trip.
How long does your driver's license expire and how much to get it? My Tennessee driver's license expires 8 years and it cost $28 to get it.
Actually, mine expires later this year, but I don't remember how much it costs. It was 8 years ago when I renewed it last.
