The difference in scores between Geekbench and Antutu (iPhone winning in CPU in one but losing in the other) is because the testing done in Geekbench is similar between the iOS and Android versions, and thus more relevant (as relevant as synthetic benchmarks can get, which is not a lot). While Antutu's tests (verified and confirmed by its developer) are completely different between Android and iOS. Meaning you can compare Android vs. Android, and iOS vs. iOS, but not Android vs. iOS really.

For the Razer and Backbone, yes. The GameSir X2 Pro has a really cool trick; the USB port pivots. You're actually supposed to plug it in first, then extend the controller, and lay the phone down into it.

Love the video, I just had a question for you regarding performance. I myself use a controller whenever I can, however I did notice that the performance of most games are much worse when using touch screen controls on the 15 Pro. Just wondering if you've seen the same results since you mentioned you look out for stuttering. Games like Genshin Impact perform fantastic with a controller, but pretty abysmal with touch screen controls. I've noticed this issue on games like Diablo Immortal and Terraria even. You can use an FPS counter on Terraria and the FPS visibly goes down when you touch the screen.

for iphone most likely the heat is causesing cpu throttle. i think there are phone coller in amazon, pick them up, and since it's USB type c now, it is easy to find all sort of docks that can provide you the power in and HDMI out, plug those in will get your iphone into pretty stable performance output.

My perspective is that mobile game cash machines proved too profitable for traditional gaming to ever be worth it for AAA developers to develop “console” experiences for mobile. And worse yet, the micro transaction model ended up poisoning consoles games too. The graphics have been up to standards for these types of games on iPhone for a decade but Apple has never pushed for iPhone to become a PSP or DS because there is no financial reason to do it. If they wanted it you’d see a first-party Apple controller. And it’s been like this forever.

The iphone is unique in that it shares the same architecture hardware/software wise with their mac pcs....any game ported to apple silicon macbooks can be tweaked easily to run on their entire ecosystem given the device has enough power (A17/M1).....Apple also has universal purchase like xbox smart delivery. Buy a game on your iphone, play it on your imac, mac mini, macbook pro, macbook air, ipads, even future apple TVs....Apple silicon is more tightly optimized than consoles....with apple releasing and constantly updating their "game porting toolkit" for developers to easily port their games to Arm/Metal apple devices......bringing games to iphones/ipads will be a breeze..........It's androd that's too vast in terms of hardware configurations, cheap and filled with piracy that will never get on that level.

(Yeah You can buy gamepad for mobile but it's not standard equipment) meanwhile every PC had Keyboard+mouse and it's turned out good enough for a lot of game genres. Game consoles are self explanatory.

Do I go with Backbone(especially since you get access to their app and library & Geforce cloud) or do I go Razer Kishi? Or the new one you showed Game Sir? Granted I’ve never used any of them. I wouldn't call a smartphone that is only limited to its AppStore and cannot emulate anything a "gaming console" lol

Also, I'll bet unlike owning something on Steam, one would have to pay for the same again just because it's on another device.

You can use emulators on iOS if you use a side loading tool like altstore, and it doesn’t require jailbreaking. I’ve used my iPad to play GC and Wii games

Yes, you can be a cheap guy and NOT be able to play any current gen console on your S22 when on the go.
But i guess you had some kind of point to make somewhere.

@@Kenosha01 NO it cant, S22 can NOT play current gen titles. If you want to bring Streaming Gamepass BS into the argument then why make an argument at all. You do not need an S22 to do that.
Again, you had some point to make somewhere i just FAILED to see it. lol 🤣

Yes because it cant. Streaming games is NOT playing them on the hardware. They have terrible visuals and rely on internet. The iPhone X can do that, is just stupid you bring cloud gaming when you know what we are talking about here. iPhone 15 even has Raytracing now@@Kenosha01
