Omg to the fullest !!!! I’m definitely in shock and awe !!!! You definitely been doing this for quite some time. I’m somewhat a newbie, got into hand embroidery and hand sewing through a leather therapeutic kit for Veterans, I absolutely love it, it definitely soothes my nerves. I’m glad you mentioned the actual name brands, like Tulip needles and Thread Magic, I never heard of them, I tried the bees wax deal, it creates too much of a mess. Thank you very much, I’m definitely inspired and motivated !!!! Oscar
@ukegirl13 thank you. I agree that not many show how they have everything set up. After a lot of trial and error, I thought I'd share what I've found works and makes it so I can stitch faster.
Thank you. I like to just grab what I need. Hunting things down makes me angry. Stitching is my relaxing, so I want it to be done with as little irritation as possible.
I can't survive in chaos. I hate not being able to find something I'm looking for. My clothes are even organized, and my husband hates how organized everything is. Lol, even my food cupboards are organized.
@px5714 it's from a few years stitching in the same spot and figuring out what makes things easier or doesn't work for me. When I get to stitch, I don't want to get up and dig through stuff to find what I need. It's all within arms reach of me and organized so I can get to it fast. Something that always annoyed me was losing my scissors! When I saw the retractable lanyards, I knew how I could use them and always know where my scissors were and never have to figure out where I sat them down again.
Thank you. I have lots of different things I do. I've been looking all over for ways to organize all kinds of supplies. These are what I have found that work for me
Love ❤your stitching corner and your little doggie too. So cute. I recently got my very first Mirabillia and I’m sorta intimidated 😂any advice for a first timer?
Once stitch at a time. It can help to break it down into parts. It's not any harder than doing a sampler. If it's the beading you're concerned with, there's tons of videos on UA-cam that people show how they tackle it. Try the different beading techniques on spare fabric to see which works best for you before going to your main project. I love using a tacky bill as it holds my beads, and I don't have to worry about them getting away from me. Use a size 28 tapestry needle to bead with. If a petite bead doesn't fit, try a tulip size 10 short beading needle. They are my favorite, but only for petite beads, all other beads, I use a size 28 tapestry needle. If you're looking for advice or need any help at all, just comment here, or you can DM me on Instagram under the same name as my channel!
@@brittanycrossstitches THANK you so much for the advice. I saw one of your videos stitching Lady Liberty and your just so chill and chatting. And your sweet doggies too! Your Not overthinking things at all. Hopefully I’m just overthinking my project. I appreciate the advice and thanks again!
@mariamoses8617 There are a lot of videos of me stitching mirabilia's and Bella Filipina's all while chatting. Sometimes, I make a mistake, but I usually catch it pretty quick if I don't then I just fudge it. No one will know but me
www.etsy.com/listing/1089642792/wooden-hanging-file-thread-organizer I got them forever ago, but they still have a listing for them. They work pretty well.
I love your set up! Is the Lowery stand under your chair, and is it weighted down with anything? Mine tips over when I swing it away from me since the light is so heavy. What is keeping yours from tipping? It looks very secure.
It's weighted down with 35lbs in disc weights. I also make sure my light bar is parallel with my scroll frames. And the light gets pushed back as far as it goes before I swing it. It counter balances the weight by pushing the light back
Hi just found your channel, I love your organization! I too have paint supplies and similar craft supplies. How do you keep your lowery from flopping?😊
My chair legs sit on top of it. However I've had my children knock it over by plowing threw to get to all the craft stuff, which is why I added the magnets to the bottom of my daisy dish because I usually will rest different needles in it. They were flung all over my living room, so with the magnets, if they knocked it over, they stayed in the daisy dish now.

Retractable idea for tools! Awesome!
Yes. I know where they are at all times and when I'm done with them. I just let go and the go back by themselves.

That little dog is Theo, and he also has a sister who's also a yorkie named Cami. They're both in my next video.

@sunnykat2762 I've heard people say they sometime use a 15 pound weight on the base. Or stack books on it.
@@brittanycrossstitches I will try that
Was that light stand custom built for you?
@@HopefulSeaOtters-rv5bj no, it's a lowery stand with the light bar attachment you can also buy from their website
Don't laugh but I'm not sure what watching is
