This great to about A. H. Stevens. I didn’t know there was a state park named in his honor. I learned of him I school. Thus is nice a piece if history. We learn something new everyday. Love that museum. Those guns back then were long ones.
We spent a week there in April 2021 on site 6. We didn’t get to go in the tower but toured the museum and the home with Melanie. We enjoyed it very much! We ate dinner one night at a great restaurant in Crawfordville. We will definitely go back.

So we can arrange our dates and plans around the rainy weekends!!! Ha ha ha. You can't find the good, if you don't know what the bad is. and rain isn't really that bad in the big scheme of things.

Nice seeing you both. We are in key west arrived Feb 15 leaving April 1st 45 days of bliss to escape the winter in TN . We are going to check some of the places that you both have shown us. We have another trip planned Virginia beach again in June. Nice seeing y'all have great day.
That is awesome!!! We can only fantasize about being out in the wild for that long a stretch! If you head back to TN through northern Alabama, we sure recommend Desoto State Park, even if it's for just an overnight stopover. Thanks for watching!

Like the one on top of the Travel trailer and mounting options if you could share the links as to what you bought. I really enjoy the short travel clips it adds to the adventure.
You won't believe this - we actually shot a video about all of the camera and audio gear we use right before Christmas, but a hard drive... accident... caused us to lose the footage, and we haven't gotten around to reshooting it yet. 😞 Keep watching and we'll get it done sooner or later.
I was taking an inmate to Hartwell Ga. Yesterday and happened to see the state park sign, so on the way back I decided to ride through. It looks like they were building something or remodeling. Are they building a new visitor center? I didn’t get to go into the campground section, there were several tractors towing huge green tanks blocking the road.
Well, keeping in mind that it’s been six weeks, it’s possible that they’ve started some construction since we were there. There wasn’t any indication that any major renovations were about to start, and we didn’t hear any of the staff mention anything. 🤷🏼♂️

Hey, we admit - to be fair, we've had MUCH better weather-luck the last year than we did the first coupe of years we were RV'ing! 😁
