- It's Frankie and Lurch vs. Riggs and Danny. Two man scramble, no strokes for best duo on the pod. First time seeing the back nine at Mammoth Dunes and it was spectacular. Things also got pretty heated in this one, partly because of our friends at Fireball but mostly because both teams REALLY wanted to win.

To have a ball identifying issue at this point in the Fore Play universe is a tad crazy to me

How do you claim to be a single dig. cap and you don’t know how to mark your ball? I’ve seriously never experienced that. So infuriating to watch two supposed single cap players arguing over balls like that. They should have gone back and played their partners ball to be legit honestly since neither idiot knew who was who. So stupid.

So crazy that this has happened… I think in this situation they all should have gone and rehit off the tee box because they didn’t know who’s ball was who’s. That would have been the most fair and then they could mark their damn balls
what could've been a great match ruined because 2 guys can't mark their balls and a camera crew that needs three angles on the tee instead of one shot on the green on a drivable par 4...

Since neither player could confidently identify their ball, they are considered lost balls. Should have re-teed or played from Riggs/Frankie’s balls.

You’re not wrong, but in matchplay where that decision basically decided the hole in a 9 hole match… no chance I’m letting Dan/Riggs get the one on the green if Dan can’t tell me 100% that’s his ball
Good to see Lurch back in these videos. Lurch is the vibes guy. Without Lurch, it feels like a couple hardos taking golf too seriously. Since Lurch left, I started watching BDS because they recognize they suck (besides FP) and just have a great time on the golf course. Lurch seems to make the experience more relatable.
Also, lurch is the only guy who doesn't vomit sponsors whenever he opens his mouth.
Watching the last 1v1v1 video I realized lurch would be the perfect 4th guy for BDS. Gives them someone else who can at least play with Perez and is also a character that could fit into any group.

Lurch leaving left me just not really loving it anymore. I listen to episodes hear and there and still watch some content but overall it’s just not the same. Dan is great when he’s doing his own stuff, but when he’s with the guys I just don’t like it for some reason it just comes off as strange

Golf does bring out the character.... as seen in the discussions about the mystery balls: own up to your mistake of not marking your ball and play the other 2.

Me and my friends are all over 22 handicaps and even we make the conscious effort to mark our balls before matches

I said that in the first 10 seconds. That was always the most obvious solution. Took them several minutes to finally bring that up as a solution and then inexplicably they didn't do it??
No way? How about Lurch hits a 40 yard slice off every tee and Dan hits a tight draw? Which ball is right and which is left is pretty easy to determine in this instance.
Riggs needs all the advantages he can get

@@yenzen9112If you ever played this course it’s a 45 degree right to left slope so a 40 yard slice goes into the hill and rolls down left and shorter. A draw or as Dan says “couldn’t have hit it better” goes over the green. You can hit 3-wood to this green if you hit it far.
Both playing the exact ball with no markers is ABSURD.

Played Mammoth a couple months ago...Lurchs ball was the one on the green. Two guys in my group drove spinny cuts to that hill...they both ended up on the green from the roll out....

I watched it live. Dan didn't hit all of it and I also found the pitch mark . LURCH hit all of his that's why I was so confident

If we're playing for money and there's a ball discrepancy either we play from the same spot, we take the two balls that are identifiable, or we retee. These guys are insane.

Writer cup rules, Danny tapped in before Riggs hit, they should have taken the 4 and Lurch/Frankie should have had a bid at the W on 8.

I couldn’t agree more. Bozo is all cocky and over confident when he has a partner to carry his poor play. But in the 1v1v1 vs. Lurch and Dan when got WAXED he was much less chirpy. (he never should’ve been in that match in the first place) And it’s so awkward the way he talks to try to fit in.

The fact they took that ball on the par 4 when there is no way to prove the bounce is insane. They all should have played from the same spot. Golf bounces and spin are almost impossible to guess. If you go from the lines off the tee Lurch was definitely on the green and Dan in the bunker.

Yeah, I got to admit two videos back to back without Trent wasn’t the play. It really highlights the reason I keep coming back. This is just a bunch of dudes that think they’re cooler than they actually are. They all seem to be in denial. Lurch thinks he can take on three dudes in a fight. Rap thinks his +2 scramble can take on GG even tho they are only playin at 6000yds. Frankie is closeted and everyone know how much Riggs be lying. 😂😂

Just came back from SV and after playing hole 14… Dans ball was 100% in the bunker. The shot is to the right on the top hill and let it run down. Any ball dead at the green goes over and you can also see the green so you should have been able to see it roll on. Caddie should know.

caddy did know, lurch and frankie refused to listen. the caddie called it on an earlier hole when lurch/frankie went over the green as they thought they were on. that hole had drone footage to confirm. on this hole after lurch hits the caddie says its over. way before dan even hits his ball

I’ve literally hit 14 green from landing it 80 yards short. Whoever was further right was the one who got the bounce into the green.

Played that course so many times, that was 100% Dan’s ball in the bunker. Lurch hit it way softer/shorter and everything comes off that hill to the green.

That’s a dumb thing to say. I’ve actually seen goodgood have this same issue a few times so that’s just a nonsense comparison. But GG camera crews were actually filming wheee the balls landed so they could rewatch the footage and clear it up really easy.

What are Riggs and D Rap good for if they can’t provide clarity in these situations? Riggs use to be the golf guy at barstool lol. Riggs has been lying to us for years about his handicap so no real surprise there when hes aiding and abetting in a clearly biased decision. D Rap has been a golf “nerd” his entire life. He covers professional golfers and has seen his fair share of controversy. The no markings of the balls is crazy but the decision is even wilder.

Played that hole multiple times the ball on the green is lurchs. The whole fairway slopes toward the green. Dan for sure flew the green.

Because Lurch and Dan are such idiots not to mark their balls both tee shots should have been discarded and they hit Frankie and Riggs drives. That would have been the best solution. Lurch at least had the best idea to hit from the same spot. Rapppaport and Riggs are unethical and should be forced by Dave.
They totally should’ve done that! Riggs being like “I don’t care what you guys say, we’re putting and you’re hitting a bunker shot” is unreal. I would’ve played the rest of the round under protest.
