I must say, as a long time s.Broly player this video is very comprehensive, it's not just a combo video but shows very detailed examination and explanation of each button/move and it's utility. This is absolutely peak, the only way you could make this better would be to have audio narration obviously.

I wouldn't expect them to buff his frame data in any meaningful way or he'll be the second coming of Vegito too safe in relation to his damage potential. Maybe make his 2M(x4) a true string at most and buff him a different way like getting rid of his kookily 10f jab.

These guides are so good I can’t help but request something that would be immensely helpful for someone at my skill level (maybe decent at fighting games in general but still learning the ins and outs of 3v3 team fighters) - for me it would be suggestions for teams/teammates that show avenues for synergy or aspects where certain teammates can help with the character’s weaknesses, amplify their strengths, and so on. Super Broly specifically reminded me of this because of how limited he seems without a good team around him. Of course I’d think the specific examples would be great but then from there I think they’d also be helpful for inducing general principles of structuring a team around a character’s strengths/weaknesses/synergies. Probably a little late to start doing this for DBFZ guides, so maybe if we’re blessed with a sequel hopefully it’s something to consider, and I know other videos have stuff like this but I’ll be honest, I think your guides are the best and I’d love to see more in-depth analysis of this aspect of play in your guides specifically at some point. In any case - great work as always!
Crazy, after all this time of trying, thanks to this guide, I can finally do the jh 2l link. What worked for me is after the 6h, superdash as soon as possible! NO delay, then when it hits delay the jl as much as you can without the jh dropping, and 2l at the last second, you will get it, took me 2 hours to get it consistently. This advice refers to the j236h extension. I haven’t even done the other one yet.
I see that now, the jl is the key. I have the 236h extension down consistently, Working on the corner ones now having trouble to get the jh to 2l on the combo after the 6m

Also for some reason if I sj after the 6M2L for the Corner 236H Extension, I’m not in the right spot to land jS, they don’t go up high enough and they just keep falling out. This one’s gonna take a LOT of grinding it seems, but also thanks for giving us all something to work towards and making the game a little more accessible
I usually set him as mid which gets him bars to work with by time he’s tag in. This makes him really dangerous as any super dash can chained into 236H into a full combo. And we all know how good superdash is in neutral. Also unscaled with 5 bars usually means TOD even with BNB combos. Only downside is he doesn’t really got mix, just mind games.
What's a good team for broly? I really want to play him and I wanna make sure I can practice the characters that do best with him, I'd prefer to not use vegito, both gogetas and labcoat though

@@TheOneWhoReportsForDuty I doubt arcsys would do sweeping changes. They just wanted to spark a bit more interest until the rollback drops. It’s most likely just going to be balances on common characters like fusions and lc21. But that’s my headcanon

I can't explain it in any more detail than when I already did at 18:09. Most common reasons for drops are a) you didn't superjump b) you didn't delay superjump c) you're unintentionally delaying the Superdash or any button after the jump and d) you didn't follow the annotations properly.
@@TinyTorgue I don't play online at all, I tried to play one time in Naruto storm 4, but ALL my actions was done with 3 sec delay, even walking After that if I'm gonna play with someone - it will be with remote play together. But thank you for your care, there is not many who would warn you about online play :)
so how many of the combos don't work on the new patch bc I'm either just messing it up which is not unlikely or some of his shit doesn't work the same anymore
@@illidanstormrage1859 It's a lot more than just not mashing, you gotta be ahead on a lot of the mindgames and what your opponent does. Once you get the hit he's not very hard to play.
In low ranks, no one can react to the heavy grab, and most people mess up when they try to escape the 2Ms. Idk about high level because I am a ssb rank for life lol

Mechanically he's pretty average, but to really make him do work you need to consistently think more than your opponent
