I've now been growing more and more annoyed these past 13 years seeing it getting eclipsed by the remake even though the style and general vibe of the 99 version suits the story way better (not to mention the OPs and EDs that are imo waaay better) May be biased bc the 99 version is one of my favorite anime since childhood, but in any case it's worth the watch
