@@anthonyman8008 this is actually a collection of multiple individuals from multiple Christian bands from back in the day, the bassist, drummer, secondary guitarist, I can specify each as I've followed them from days gone by, great to see they've come together (brook reeves and impending doom would be the outcast as they're still doing they're thing, still awesome for reeves to hop in though) these bands all have deep routed backgrounds that lead toward Christian following, might want to do your due diligence before making blatant comments proving you in a less then positive light

I must’ve watched this full performance over 20 times over the last month. I’ve been having an inner dialogue for years about turning my life to Christ, but have always felt I wouldn’t be able to live up to the expectations. However, I’m now at a point we’re I can’t deny it any further. This music has been the soundtrack of my turning point. God bless you all.
I guess the whole point is we all fall short. I felt the same way. It was really my excuses for not wanting to give up my inner darkness/sins.
@uhtreduhtredsson1721 felt the same way myself and I imagine that many others have denied themselves of eternal life because they felt that they weren't going to be good enough or would never measure up just as we have but let me tell you my God knew me before I was in the womb and created me from flesh and flesh sins and therefore he offered his son as a sacrifice so that we can all have eternal life.

[9] that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. That's why He gave us His grace, we ALL fall short of living a life worthy of Christ; as much as we try. So don't let your fear of failure keep you away from a relationship with Jesus. Your mention of the Paschal hymn resonates with me. As a Catholic exploring Orthodox spirituality, I'm inspired to reflect this unity in the music I started to create. Christ's light guides us and unite us all.
A friend pointed out the setting of the first musical phrase of the Paschal Troparion is Svan (Georgian mountain district), probably from Vlad Morosan’s sheet music. I didn’t recognize it because it doesn’t sound Georgian they way they inflect it, probably using Melodyne auto tune, which neutralizes the potent polyphony sound by Georgian choirs.

I mean I'd get it if it was straight up satanic music like Behemoth or Ghost, even then you can't deny you enjoy something. Just don't live negative, give your life to Christ and repent. Prayer. I can't listen to metal anymore like slipknot or anything secular honestly, the one bible verse that sticks out to me is, a double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

I found this band by suggested feed and I have never been happier musically. What an incredible lead singer Tommy is and what an amazing band. I have not listened to any Christian music in probably 2 or 3 years and since falling in love with metal this has been one of my happiest days. I have never cried while watching something musically until the final two songs of this. Please don't let this be a one and done album please make this available on every format so people can find it. Amazon, streaming, etc. I'll buy an Lp record as soon as it comes out I see September as a possible release in a couple sites.

As someone whose faith has been so shaky and almost non existent the last few years I can't express how much the positive energy alone from this helped my heart feel happy. @@ChristSavesandMusicHelpswhen I was in my teenage years, xDeathstarx had two albums under this name. Not familiar with the story, though. In Brazil, at least, Tidal has only 1 single, but Spotify has the two albums I've mentioned. You should definitely check them.
Brian Head also has a solo career and a band called Love And Death. Definitely a must listen.
@@ChristSavesandMusicHelpsxDeathstarx is a hardcore band that originated around the same time as sleeping giant did. Some (or all I’m not 100% sure) of the members in deathstar ended up in sleeping giant. There is more to it but that’s the basic history of the band.

The emotional you could see in everyone's face and body language on fall on your knees was so genuine. Ive watched this live video in bits and pieces and again in it's entirety. I am overcome with emotion. Iam on the road of repentance and acceptance that I need Jesus in my life more than ever. Now is not the time to be luke warm. It's all or nothing. There are only 2 choices in this life and I choose Jesus the Lamb of God. All glory and praise go to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Fall On Your Knees lit a fire in me. Theres just something about this performance, and loved seeing Brian playing his heart out too.
I gave up secular music because I couldn't - in all good consciousness - listen to those constant, selfish messages permeate my core any longer. (And I'm not casting my convictions on anyone, just sharing mine.) I used to listen to mostly metal. Even Korn. But after hearing this, it's kind of refreshing to hear something that feels authentically rock, but isn't pushing a depressing, soul heavy message. Thanks for posting. I'm glad UA-cam recommended it.

Your testimony made me cry at a Demon Hunter concert back when you were Sleeping Giant in Orlando for the World is a Thorn tour. It pierced me through even you said "somebody has to die for this" I'm still crying a little thinking about that night. I left godless porn addicted depressed self worship.
I was nurtured in a Baptist church until I was chrismated back in March and am now a catechist and lecturer and manager at a homeless ministry. And seeing ya'll today with Ryan again I am again crying. ☦️

I am highly impressed with this band I just heard them for the first time not even 30 minutes ago! I've been through so much trials and tribulations in the last couple years I don't even know how I'm still here other than the grace of God! I had a heart attack and open heart double bypass surgery about a month ago! And the woman I love most was at the hospital with me, loving on me and telling me that she loves me! Fast forward to 3-4 days ago, she's telling me that she don't love me that she doesn't want to be with me and just showing me a side of her I've never seen! I'm hoping against all hope that she's just taking her anger out on me from all the debris in her past that she's dealing with! I don't know how other than by the grace of God that I don't argue with her or really anybody anymore? I do know right now I'm going to go see the heart surgeon, I've actually applied to college for the first time in my life, Lord knows I am suffering right now physical pain and emotional since day one I called her my heart I said baby can I have my heart back cuz you stole it she's all I've ever wanted and I feel like I'm never going to get her, I told her I just want to see you happy cuz that makes me happy. But right now I could really use some prayers, cuz I'm starting to cry

I had gotten Pantera tickets because I've listened to them since I was a teenager and thought I should see them after all these years they didn't tour because of Dime. It was bittersweet seeing the show lastnight. It was like I was saying goodbye to my old self. I felt out of place and not good at all. I wondered if there was rock music out there that praised God.. I woke up today and found this on my feed 🙏❤

First of all, I have to express my respect. this concert is by far the best i have seen here so far. I would have loved to have been there live. 40 minutes of pure goosebumps. I hear you. Thankfully, we can worship anytime and in many ways. Alone, together, loudly or quietly. I have the most amazing worship times alone in my car on long drives while traveling.

Since hearing Fall On Your Knees, something has changed... I am drawn closer, i want to know Jesus and the feeling and need has consumed me completely, I can feel it in every part of me... nothing matters as much as finding Christ to me now. I grew up in Calvary Chapel churches and others of its kind,. I have never heard from Jesus... i have always talked without an answer. I lack the words to explain the calm i feel mixed with the hope i feel and strength i feel. i just cant explain it. the best i can describe it is a feeling like i have been set on fire, while being calm and safe. I am drawn to the Eastern Orthodox Church.... I think i am finally finding my way, and i have hope.
This music is beautiful. I'm so happy that more people are starting to worship God with their music. Thank you for creating this. I am now a forever fan.

Wow. That is really good. I stopped listening metal music for many years as It wasn't doing good for me. Now I am in the hospital, struggling with incurable disease and this music is touching me deeply. I feel like my body is worshipping God almost automatically :D

I had not heard of HolyName the band until I saw Ryan Clark of Demon Hunter (one of my favorite bands) here on UA-cam just this morning. This has been one of those great discoveries and I cannot stop listening and watching on UA-cam and Spotify all day. The music is very powerful with all the special guests and all the worship. I can feel the praise to the one true God and my Savior Jesus Christ who is always there for us with open open arms, AMEN.

Just discovered this band. Combining aesthetically darker visual themes in ancient Christianity with ethereal worship melodies, brutal drums, and heavier guitars just works. Keep the faith!
