I loved how Nureyev choreographed this number into a Pas de Cinq. Moreover, variation number 3 (the trio) is one of my favorites in the ballet and I loved that he transferred it into the last part. He kept the best for the end! :)
This version is a little different because there's 5 dancers, but the three girls are Emerald, Sapphire, and Ruby. I'm assuming the male dancer is Gold and the female dancer is Silver.
Rudi (whose version of SB this is) was a mediocre choreographer and I think it's a shame the POB still uses his version of this ballet. Yes, cluttered, not very musical steps.
@@PalacinkyPDX The shame lies in the fact that you have made the sense of your existence on UA-cam slinging mud at the brilliant choreography of the genius Nureyev, who cleaned the vicious sporty ballet dancing technique of Vaganova (Petipa did always hated her dancing and interpretation btw) and the soviet Kirov Theater to a pure shine.

I agree, I really like Noureev's coreography , in all her ballets, and specially this pas de cinq . The dancers are all superb¡¡¡
