Cheers, will do my best. Is bit difficult with editing when you have different footage. As taking long time to find stuff from my colleagues videos and not all is possible to use 👍
First chance I've had to watch this one. Great video Peter, nice to see some flying, especially as we are all grounded :-( The bush landing was pretty cool at the end, glad he was all okay. Thanks again for sharing Peter :-)
Yes Darren was star 🤣 About controlling wing you mentioned on early comment which at some reason youtube do not want to show it here. If you have light girl or really heavy guy it does not mater as heavy guy has bigger wing for weight compensation. So if she struggle with wing that means that she need to improve her ground handling skills. Same it would be with heavy guy case. Hope it make sense for you 😉
Greatly enjoying your videos. Im moving to the UK in late summer. I am currently a P2 USHPA novice pilot. Will my certification be recognized under BHPA? What would I need to do in order to fly at some of the sites over in the UK? Would certainly enjoy getting some additional training from you. Right now I have 103 flights with about 36 hours total in my logbook. I have a few short x-c's. No siv's, I need some more experience first. I have an ozone mojo wing, and a gin verso harness with reserve. Although i really want to ungrade to a enb wing, maybe the ozone swift soon. Looking forward to more videos. Thanks!
If you are in UK and you wish to fly our sites then you need to join BHPA. They should accept your license. Just wisit www.BHPA.co.uk What part UK you are now ? I am happy to help. With those hours you can change wing for B. But first try demo wing then you will be 100% sure if you like higher class that you use to 🙏 Hope this World crises will soon gone and we will fly again 👌 take care, stay healthy and safe !
@@PeterHoldy Im not in the UK just yet. I currently live on Guam associated with the military. Ill be moving to RAF Lakenheath in July. In about a month or 2 ill join BHPA. I just recently sent off the request for my IPPI card which will convert my USPA P2 certification and be recognized under BHPA. It looks like most of the sites for flying is on the south side of England? Is this where you teach? So from Lakenheath it looks like maybe 2+30 for a commute, maybe little longer. Ill have a short break between my move from Guam to England at which ill go to the states to visit family. I am hoping that I can obtain my P3 before i head to England. Keep posting, enjoying all your videos. Thanks.
@@n120tm are you fighter pilot ? Quiet long way from Guam. Yes you are bit above London and there is not many Paragliding flying sites. You need to check with local club. @@PeterHoldy No not a fighter pilot, maybe in my dreams. 🙃 My wife is a nurse in the Air Force getting transferred to Lakenheath. However I do fly for a living. Currently flying Carvans out of Guam hauling freight and USPS mail to the nearby islands. Not sure if I'll be able to get a flying job in the UK because of the licensing requirements are much different than the US. I told my wife that i needed to take a much needed sabbatical from flying so that I can catch up on my love for paragliding. She gave me a strange look. I definitely would like to get some training from you, and also the a club checkout. So does each club in the UK have it's own requirements for a club checkout? It's not transferable?
@@n120tm if you will get BHPA license then you can join any club you love 👍 if corona will be gone then i am 99% available in weekends for training or any flying help 🙏 so any time if you will be able to come down here then i will help 👍 i am PPL pilot and want to do my CPL theory this year 😉
