one way you can test how much of an upgrade it really is is to press the "copy item" button on trade and add that item on your POB then mouse over the item trying to equip it. it'll even give you the total DPS increase and all the stat increases and decreases if you were to equip that item instead of the one you currently have giving you a visual representation of what that item will really do for your build. so you don't blindly go for "upgrades" that are actually hurting your build or waste currency when you already have a good item on that slot for your current budget.

eventually someone is going to create a machine learning algorithm that can take any skill and spit out an optimized PoB for it. calling it now
I have optimized my frontal cortex to produce toxic rain builds
too much work for none meta builds. generating codes for skills that aren't even worth it or good is just a waste of time. Probably the very reason why no one has ever done it until now. You are not the only one who thought about it.
@@evilkamatis542 who knows? Maybe non meta skills are meta if something generates a perfect build.
@@stephengale3656 depends, some non meta skills are just bad because there's alternatives that are better in every way
You can already do it. I have been 😉 no need to wait for someone to code...we live in an age where ai will do it for you. A.i. agents and auto gpts can be ran directly off your computer with no limitations except your imagination. My gamer brain is using one for path of exile instead of making money 😂 I gave it access to path of building and it already came with access to the internet.

Thanks for the video man - this really helped. I can't seem to search for abyss jewels with it though. My imported build has a darkness enthroned with 2x abyss jewels, but the only socket that shows is my brutal restraint....any ideas?
Can also copy the weapon/jewelry ect into you POB to see the difference it does to your build and states

How do you get a real time conversion from Divine to chaos on your Poe trade?

i discovered this a few days ago and bought a few items with it but it doesnt seem to work on bows, no matter how i configure it it always ends up with no search results, damn shame

It does not work on attack weapons due to trade api limitations
You have to modify the minimum weight, remove the trash mods and add the stuff it missed. It's not great and it defaults to putting hit pool at a high weight lol

Every Extra Arrow Quiver is showing as much less dps than my shitty 1 divine quiver from 2 weeks ago. I have no idea how much the +1 arrow effects LA or if it even does. No idea how to change it in POB calcs to ACTUALLY know if im just wasting my money or not
Isn't extra arrow mostly for TS and not lightning arrow
@@kimberly4275 Probably honestly, i see it mentioned in all LA builds though. That’s probably just for extra clear i assume.
PoB doesnt count extra arrows as extra dps. Just a limitation
I used this in the last league and it was great but it doesn't work for me in this league, i just get an error msg

if you're using a POESESSID, it might've expired. you need to grab it again every so often

more and more reasons that some of these features should be inside the game and not in a third part program. the more and more this program makes the poe experience better the worse things will get.

I fumbled around with it and bought a 14 chaos quiver that increased my dps by 8,000. Yikes. I guess lazy people can use this too. Thanks for the info

What is the point of this if you're just going to remove half of the mods being searched for and adding important ones lol.

Easier to just type in trade which affixes u need and set min-max values and then click copy to pob, and see the dps improvement.. so much extra hassle for something that already works great.
Yeah if you 100% know but the idea of this is finding gaps in your knowledge.
You obviously either didn't watch the video or don't understand what the tool is doing because you're literally describing finding the highest weighted mods manually and this tool finds all the weights for every stat instantly and creates a search using those weights. This means not only is it much faster, but more importantly its listing by sum weight and will find irregular and uncommon stat combinations you wouldn't normally search for.
Because everyone has memorized the median values of every tier of damage mod in the game, right?

weird. you do all that work and i click 1 button and it tells me the most optimal jewel i need :)

i really wouldnt recommend using this. it rarely works and will just give you shit results when it does
it also doesnt understand what gear is actually best for your build at all
It’s all about the config, I don’t use it often but if you have a build which knows 100% what it needs and your league starting it can sort shit out for you pretty easily!
It's best if you make edits to the poe trade it provides for you. I usually add an "and" or "not" condition to better hone in what I'm looking for and whats right for me. It's a very powerful tool and I've used to to buy a less than 50c jewel that's better than 4-5+div jewels that my guide calls for several times.

I'd never recommend this tool to anyone.
Just use Awakened Trade and Ctrl+D over an item you want to find upgrades for, you can tick the stats you need and itll open a trade link you can set the min values on/or add a new mod you like. Takes 10 seconds. Just don't be too specific if u need for example fire res, put it as total resistances instead, since u can harvest swap later. And if u need a benchcraft, dont search for the benchcraft, put instead empty prefix or suffix(whichever u need) in the filter. Then if u find an interesting item, you click the Copy button on the item in trade, and ctrl+paste it into PoB..
There are no such things as tools knowing automatically what you need to scale your build, maybe if it used AI to learn what for example "Toxic Ballista" needs. Thats why this tool will only show you garbage most of the time.
I can see it work for jewels a bit better, with much more limited stats to consider, but still, why give up 100 % control over a search.

How important is the additional arrow on the quiver?
It keeps giving me quivers that do not have this stat.
PoB doesn't recognize added arrow as doing actual dps, but it is the thing which scales arrow builds the most and the best.
For a build that can scale damage by shotgunning projectiles (TS, CA), it's very important.
