Well, after these many centuries, Abraham's progeny are spread across the world populations, b/c most would carry the DNA trace of SEVERAL different tribes, and the only REAL way to identify the correct "tribe" of Israel according to the will and purpose of Almighty God would be for His servants to identify them as to their tribe among the righteous children of Israel!!

I have always been interested in archaeology and your proof of the biblical tales makes it come alive and have a fuller effect on my understanding. It's like hearing tales of medieval times and actually seeing the places well known people lived, fought & died.
Already in 2 Chronicles 11, immediately after the division, the levites and the priests and people from every tribe left the North and came to Jerusalem for refuge. 2 Chronicles 11 13 The priests and the Levites from all over Israel agreed with Rehoboam and joined him.14 The Levites left their grasslands and their own fields and came to Judah and Jerusalem. The Levites did this because Jeroboam and his sons refused to let them serve as priests to the Lord. 15 Jeroboam chose his own priests to serve in the high places, where he set up the goat and calf idols he had made. 16 When the Levites left Israel, the people in all the tribes of Israel who were faithful to the Lord, the God of Israel, came to Jerusalem to sacrifice to the Lord, the God of their fathers. 17 These people made the kingdom of Judah strong, and they supported Solomon’s son Rehoboam for three years. They did this because during that time they lived the way David and Solomon had lived.

100% couldn’t agree. This is a very complex discussion and not even close to using all the scripture to decipher such a mystery! I do appreciate your view and wonderfully put together video!!
I think you have confused things. The nation of Israel split into two--Israel and Judah. The history of their nations and different kings as well as their destruction and scattering is incredibly plain in the books of Kings 1 and 2. The Jews are descendants of the nation of Judah, which consisted of mainly the tribe of Judah and Benjamin, but also their priests made of the tribe of Levi. A few from the other tribes were in the nation of Judah, but there were fewer of them. The nation of Israel was conquered and taken into captivity, and described to have been taken into the northern countries. This is all biblical, which you can read yourself. The reason they are called lost is that we don't know what happened to them after Babylon conquered everything, and they were conquered by Persia. Personally, my view is that those of the nation of Israel were sold as slaves and traded within the empires, their people eventually being assimilated into the other cultures. They probably carried some of their traditions with them, but as a whole society, they are lost. However, I also believe the gathering of Israel is a spiritual gathering and an awakening to truth. I don't expect Israel to march in from some hidden enclave. And we have to wonder what Israel was chosen for? They are not better than everyone else, as the Bible clearly shows all their follies. You could say, they were chosen as an object lesson to us all, and a bringer of a record that would allow the world to recognize the truth. And... they are not done yet.
You took the words right out of my mouth. Thanks for stating it so plainly, and in my opinion, correctly. Seems many of the tribes dispersed after being moved to Assyria are said to have taken a common path through the Caucasus Mountains, and went west - towards Europe. There is much documentation on this possibility, and even names of towns for the Israelites that passed through and occupied during this trek/diaspora. Seems kind of exciting to me, that those of European ancestry might very well be part of the 10 tribes. All will be revealed when we finally see Him.

This process of becoming "lost" seems to be an efficient way for the Genesis prophecy given to Abram in Genesis 13:16 to come to fruition. And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered. Isaiah 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth; it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

@@wrathofel2796 Well… _someone_ is confused. Let’s look at what Matthew 10: 5 _actually_ says. “ _5 These 12 Jesus sent out, giving them these instructions: “Do not go off into the road of the nations, and do not enter any Sa·marʹi·tan city; 6 but instead, go continually to the _lost sheep of the house of Israel_ .l 7 As you go, preach, saying: ‘The Kingdom of the heavens has drawn near.’ “ With those words Jesus started a teaching campaign in an effort to reach the hearts of his fellow Jews. Notice he didn’t mention _10 tribes_ but the _lost sheep of the house of Israel_ . Why did he call his fellow Israelites lost sheep? Matthew 9:36 says of Jesus :” 36 On seeing the crowds, he felt pity for them, because they were skinned and thrown about like _sheep without a shepherd_ …” The religious leaders of his day , the Pharisees and Sadducees, abused their privileges in the Jewish faith and dominated the _amharets_ (the common people) Of them Jesus said : “ 2 The scribes and the Pharisees have seated themselves in the seat of Moses. 3 Therefore, all the things they tell you, do and observe, but do not do according to their deeds, for they say but they do not practice what they say. 4 _They bind up heavy loads and put them on the shoulders of men_ , but they themselves are not willing to budge them with their finger.” ( Matthew 23 2-4) So what happened the ten tribe Kingdom of Israel? “ 17 In the 12th year of King Aʹhaz of Judah, Ho·sheʹaa the son of Eʹlah became king over Israel in Sa·marʹi·a; he ruled for nine years…..5 The king of As·syrʹi·a invaded the entire land, and he came to Sa·marʹi·a and laid siege to it for three years. 6 In the ninth year of Ho·sheʹa, the king of As·syrʹi·a captured Sa·marʹi·a. _He then led the people of Israel into exile in As·syrʹi·a_ and made them dwell in Haʹlah and in Haʹbor at the river Goʹzang and in the cities of the Medes.” (2 Kings 17) The Bible tells us _exactly_ where the ten tribes ended up : scattered throughout the Assyrian Empire.
Interesting approach to this subject of lost tribes. It makes a lot of sense, but many were absorbed into other countries that Assyria had conquered, so there are still those to be gathered.
Wow! I have been studying the dispersion and never thought about refugees. I know when the northern kingdom broke from the south, the religious fled to the south. This is great work. Thank you.

I'm afraid that this is patently not true, the norther 10 tribes were largely captured and taken away by assyria, obviously I'm not discounting the possibility that some of them made it to Jerusalem, but the majority were taken away and placed in a new land. These tribes then multiplied and eventually lost their israelite identity which the Jews (judah) kept because they continued to worship on the 7th day sabbath and to adhere to the other festivals, so they knew who they were. The other tribes migrated into Europe and as some others have said, became the nations of western Europe specifically the British and American nations. The Jewish historian josephus wrote the the 10 tribes were a great multitude around what we now know as the black sea area that was 2000 years ago

My only disagreement is with the idea that the southern kingdom's inhabitants were "Jews". There's no reason to retroactively rename the IOUDAIOI of the past "Jews", it makes people falsely assume that A) The people living today who've adopted that name and the ancient inhabitants of Judaea are one and the same, and B) That they all descended from Jacob. First of all, the inhabitants of the southern kingdom included Shelanites, Canaanites, and Edomites, (like Herod the Great) among other non Israelites. Secondly, since Judaea ceased to exist over 1900 years ago many non Israelites have married into the people now calling themselves "Jews", and there have been many conversions of non Israelites to Judaism, which resulted in the converts being called "Jews". There were even mass conversions, like the conversion of the entire Khazar Kingdom by decree of their Kagan/King Bulan. So the idea that being called "Jew" means someone is a descendant of Jacob is absurd. Even in Jeremiah's day prior to the Babylonian captivity, Jeremiah divided the inhabitants of Judah into 2 groups - the "naughty figs" and the "good figs", the naughty figs being illegitimate residents of Judah's territory. The situation only got worse after only 50,000 returned to Jerusalem from the Babylonian captivity, and not even all were legitimate. Then beginning in 125BC the entire nation of Edom/Idumea was forcibly converted to the practice of circumcision and allowed to migrate en mass into Judaea if they adhered to Judaean culture. (Josephus, Antiquities 13.9.1) "Strictly speaking, it is incorrect to call an ancient Israelite a Jew, or to call a contemporary Jew an Israelite or Hebrew." -The Jewish Almanac, 1980, p3

Yeshua said he came but for the lost sheep of the house of Israel. That includes all the tribes. If they were all accounted for before he came, why would he say that. Many were taken to Assyria were eventually dispersed and they migrated to other places over time. Many have been scattered but God knows who they are. Many have forgotten who they are descended from. Many have become Christians. There is an end time promise that the two sticks that are Israel and Judah will be reunited. God promised that Abraham’s descendants would number like the sand of the seas. The number of the Jews do not reflect that. God does not lie. When a person gets saved they are grafted in to Israel. So all Christian’s over the last 2,000 years are part of Israel. That number would be a fulfillment of the promise made to Abraham. Also, Josephus wrote about the scattered of Israel and where many of them were at the time of Yeshua. I do love this channel and have learned a lot from it. Just wanting to share a different perspective.
I enjoyed you digging into what we can see via archeology and how that relates to the ten tribes. I suspect there is more to the northern tribes than the many people who showed up around Jerusalem, but I was unaware that the population of Jerusalem grew so quickly after the nation of Israel was attacked but before Jerusalem itself become under siege. And interesting how it ties into Micah chapter two. (just curious: when was Micah written compared to Assyrian invasions?) Very interesting history. Thanks!
I've been researching this for quite some time now and from all my studying, those 10 tribes in Grand majority never came back. I've read a lot of books, not just a 10 minute video. They were used as a wall for the Assyrians against other enemies. They are scattered n.e.s.w. A lot headed north over the caucus mountains and traveled into the baltics and spread over into Europe. Even the Rabbis agree that the 10 tribes (in Grand majority) never came back. The kingship (Judah), after Babylon invasion, left as well and migrated to Scotland. They are still scattered throughout the "corners" of the world. Only during the millennium and the Heaven age, will they be brought back in the sheepfold. Interesting video "The Lost tribes of Israel (1 of 4)" by "Revealing the truth" can shed some good information on the tribes footprints throughout Europe and beyond. I'd advise seeing a second opinion.

I love your show. I've been fascinated with archeology since I was a kid. Our church did a 7 part Bible study called "Tracking the Tribes" over a year ago. We discovered that the majority of the 10 Tribes were scattered all over the earth. I agree there was a remnant that stayed with the House of Judah in Jerusalem. Another thing we discovered that the 10 Tribes were not of the tribe of Judah. They were known as Israelites. The Jews which is short for Judah, only make up of Judah and Benjamin. Jews are Israelites, but not all Israelites are Jews. When we discover the difference, the Bible makes so much more sense. Jesus called them the lost sheep and scattered sheep. The apostles called them the afar off people, even in the book of the prophets. If reading the prophets, they differentiate the difference of the House of Israel and Judah. Or Ephraim and Judah. In Genesis it gives a prophecy that Ephraim and Manasseh would be many nations or accompany of nations. The Jews never fulfilled that, but the 10 Tribes did. There are only 2 nations that have multiple nations with one empire and a nation that has multiple nations. And been the leading Christian nations of the world. It makes my head scratch when we see the blessing Jacob did with Ephraim and Manasseh. They are the only ones that were given the Israel blessing to carry that name. It's a lot, but it's worth the research. We actually traced them, and what their name was changed to when captured into exile.

I have always been interested in archaeology and your proof of the biblical tales makes it come alive and have a fuller effect on my understanding. It's like hearing tales of medieval times and actually seeing the places well known people lived, fought & died.
Wow, never heard it explained like that, makes so much sense. Well done!
Already in 2 Chronicles 11, immediately after the division, the levites and the priests and people from every tribe left the North and came to Jerusalem for refuge.
2 Chronicles 11
13 The priests and the Levites from all over Israel agreed with Rehoboam and joined him.14 The Levites left their grasslands and their own fields and came to Judah and Jerusalem.
Confirmed again in:
2Ch 15:9 And he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and those from Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon who were residing with them, for *great numbers had deserted to him from Israel when they saw that the LORD his God was with him.*

Amen. Totally agree

To say that there are not 10 lost tribes of Israel is to essentially call Christ a liar. He sent his apostles to find them and bring his testament to them. He is very clear about that in Matthew 10:5.
Spiritually lost…not physically lost…
@@groovecouple4644 He is not the author of confusion. When he makes a plain statement like that, he is saying exactly what he means. If he meant lost in spirit, he would have said so.
Your correct and worded strongly your disagreement to this guys conclusion which is wrong. The lost tribes were divorced by God because of there disobedience but when Christ died on the cross they were remarried and brought back into the new covenant.
4 _They bind up heavy loads and put them on the shoulders of men_ , but they themselves are not willing to budge them with their finger.” ( Matthew 23 2-4)
So what happened the ten tribe Kingdom of Israel? “ 17 In the 12th year of King Aʹhaz of Judah, Ho·sheʹaa the son of Eʹlah became king over Israel in Sa·marʹi·a; he ruled for nine years…..5 The king of As·syrʹi·a invaded the entire land, and he came to Sa·marʹi·a and laid siege to it for three years. 6 In the ninth year of Ho·sheʹa, the king of As·syrʹi·a captured Sa·marʹi·a. _He then led the people of Israel into exile in As·syrʹi·a_ and made them dwell in Haʹlah and in Haʹbor at the river Goʹzang and in the cities of the Medes.” (2 Kings 17)
The Bible tells us _exactly_ where the ten tribes ended up : scattered throughout the Assyrian Empire.

You are a blessing for us.
YHWH is sending our King back soon. Hallelujah.
I came across this channel recently.. I find it very interesting.. there's so much to learn about the history of ancient Isreal..though Ive read Isaiah. I couldn't understand most of what you explained.. thank you so much...
After babylonian exile bible talks of judah tribe coming back
What about other tribes
Also can you actually tell about areas where samariyan lived and judah lived in todays map
Also are there still 12 tribes in israel
It's amazing to see John 10 come to life. The shepherd leads the sheep into the pen then sits at the doorway to guard the sheep that no intruder enters.
In the morning he calls them and they all go out. He goes out before them, and the sheep follow him as they know his voice. Fascinating to watch this while reading how Jesus is the Shepherd and we are His sheep, and we don't follow strangers, but will flee from them.
This is so cool! I’ve heard of the lost tribes but never really understood how they are lost or found. James writes to the 12 tribes. Which gave me a clue that they were not lost. But this video helps to understand the big picture. Thank you!
may i ask, in your research and expedition, who are people living in the modern israel today?
Where did lost tribes of israel (ancient) went?
Yes, there are 10 tribes. I am one individual from one tribe and know many others. I lived in Israel, learned Hebrew and grew in understanding of the Torah. For me it has been 19 years since I woke up. God showed me his ways and the error of my own.
Awesome! Thank you for this discussion!!
I appreciate your explanation of this topic though it brings up another question (or a few). If the 10 tribes of Israel were not lost and remained in Jerusalem, then who are the Jews that are there now, who came from outside of the area (such as those from Europe and other nations)? Thank you in advance for your response(s). God Bless.
The story I have understood was that many of them are Kazars who were converts to Judaism. These people originated, I think, from Eastern Europe near Russia. May be worth researching.
To hear the Lord said I’ll gather Jacob as sheep in a pen and bought people of Israel in Jerusalem during Assyrian invasion is so comforting and amazing
I just want to say thank you for your videos and the scriptures to go along with it. Blessing.. amen 🙏🏼
Whats funny is that my people here in montana are called the Nekoda(the giving ones or the allies) depending on the tone the government calls us assiniboine which is a name they learned from a close Ojibwa tribe that lived near to us it means stone Sioux...just some history have a great life people
Matt 10:6 “but go rather to the lost sheep of the house of israel.”
Matt 15:24 Jesus answered, “I was sent only to the list tribes of the house of israel.”
Luke 15:4 “what man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he lost one of them does. It leave the ninety nine in the open country and go after the one that is lost, until he finds it.”
Luke 15:6 “and when he comes home he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, Rejoice with me for I have found my sheep that was lost.
So I don’t know. I think there are lost sheep and Jesus said he was sent to the to them specifically.
Would you like some good material on the lost sheep 🐑 🐑 🐑 ? Check out the Israelite Identity P. list on my channel. I recommend starting with the video series of which the first video is titled: 'The Lost Tribes of Israel 1 of 4'.
Indeed. He's forgetting the captivity part and that they didn't return. And this once saved always saved doctrine, while it sounds nice, is a lie (and that's according to ALL of Scripture). Present the facts and leave out the theories please (or at least state them as your opinion or an interesting possibility rather than fact). Yah bless
@@Satczech amen. I was really enjoying these videos but this one was disappointing to say the least. Shabbat shalom.
I see what you're saying, he also hasn't mentioned the curses of deuteronomy set before israel to be scattered to all nations
@@taylor8795 all scripture speaks to the lost sheep. There is a lot he hasn’t mentioned. I pulled mostly from the New Testament to make the point that it was ongoing. Blessings to you
putting all the pieces together of archaeology to confirm the biblical account....and masterfully done....thank you so much!! continue on.....
This video was put together with the Love of the Almighty. I sense the Holy Spirit throughout the video. Thank you!! BTW 4 of your books made great Christmas gifts.
Reading about battles from the Bible or text books is fine. Seeing it on a map makes it easy to remember.
(Josephus, Antiquities 13.9.1)
"Strictly speaking, it is incorrect to call an ancient Israelite a Jew, or to call a contemporary Jew an Israelite or Hebrew." -The Jewish Almanac, 1980, p3
I think it won't be to long and DNA strands will be revealed as to who is a Jew and who is not. At least I'm hopeing so.
You’re a great ‘explainer’,…the teaching you’ve prepared and provided is very valuable! 👍✝️🥰
explainer of lies.
@@rasheenpugh467 Here's a lie for you. Your God can save you... Wait, don't believe in God? Then all hope is lost to you. What's the inscription above the gateway to hell "abandon all hope ye who enter here"? You already there. Worship Jesus who is named Christ.
I'd love your book translated to Spanish. It would be so useful for Evagelism in Latin America!
What a blessing for you to show this to the world. God is all powerful and all knowing. He never slumbers or sleeps. He has preserved His people just as the Bible says. Praise to Jesus our King.
(just curious: when was Micah written compared to Assyrian invasions?)
Very interesting history. Thanks!
I wish he had quoted a source for the growth of population of Jerusalem
Theres Bible prophecies like the Hosea prophecy that talk about this(what happens later) .They say that the 12 tribes of Israel get scattered the millenium Jesus dies, then Israel becomes a nation,as they all come back, whicth heppaned in 1948.History lines up by this 2500 year old prophecy from the bible.
Remnant is by definition a smaller remaining amount. This video may explain the remnant, but doesn't seem to account for the larger portion of the 10 tribes.
@@flaggov6949There is account for it, it just always ends in a racial dispute and everyone refrains from it. If it weren't suppressed, the current world would be a lot different.
Thank you for your hard work and for sharing all this information ❤️🙂
Thank you for putting before us the puzzle
They are 0nly lost to the knowledge of use .... God knows who his children are .... and there descendants....even if we do not
