Kit. I started researching "note takers". You very quickly became the single place I stayed (along with the comparison charts) as a single source of unbiased truth. ReMarkable was the default choice (mainly due to the marketing) but feel there are better (and less expensive) devices. I do like that you refrain from saying which one you would buy so it becomes more of an informed choice. Being a fellow brit is just the icing on the cake. Outstanding work sir.
hi there. I really like your informative videos about e-ink tablets, they really helped e to decide on the note air 2, which I got a week ago. I'm struggling to find a way to paste large quantities of text, eg from a website, into a notepad however. do you have a recommondation for me? pasting it into a textframe doesn't seem to be doing the trick, as it won't automatcally overflow to the next page of the notebook. any tipps are much appreciated!
question 1: how does an ink tablet cope with 1000+ pages pdfs books with images and 2 columns of small text (med student)? can I jump fast from page 25 to page 1025 for example? I need this a lot q2: can I see detailed images like an anatomy atlas? q3: does it support power points? Word documents? I have a lot of courses like this. Also taking notes on them? I am asking this because I also can't invest in a very very expensive product.
This overview is excellent - exactly what I needed. Does anyone know which of these you can use a USB-connected mechanical keyboard with? I use my Happy Hacking Keyboard with the Supernote Nomad every day and would like a similar setup with a Boox tablet because of the larger screen. If anyone has experience using an external mechanical keyboard with these, please comment. Thanks!
Thanks for this video. Been enjoying your channel. I’ve been looking for a distraction free tablet for taking notes and typing on with external keyboard. Reading pdfs/websites/books a plus but everything beyond that is OTT for me (maybe other than GDrive sync) - any recommendations please?
hiya, boox works well for my workflow, but if you want distraction free i'm bringing the next section of this live stream in edited form probably later this week, otherwise you could go and watch the second half of the live stream which I did in Thursday and where I break down the distraction free options in a similar way!
I saw another video that their Tab Ultra C hasn't had a security update for 3 years...do you know if the boox devices you have are being updated by chance?
I'm still to make a decision on what e-note device to get, everytime i measure one of the kids notebooks it blows my mind that they're 10inches... Does the 10.3 size not feel too small to write long form in?

It's weird to get notifications on an e-ink tablet. Now I'm distracted by the freedom of drawing in color. 😂
haha, yes More possibilities means more distractions!
I decide, and have chosen supernote lol, no other device is close to supernote when it comes to notes

Yep, you can do this in any boox device. Might be best to go for one of the larger ones so that you could use split screen mode. :-)

hiya, yeah i think they are generally pretty good! But if you are convinced you want to go big, you're probably best thinking about the Tab X!
