The difference is mainly what abilities are used and what they look like. For example: When Modern Kirby uses bomb he gets a party hat, and his explosions are fireworks. When Classic Kirby uses bomb he gets a poppy bro hat, and his explosions are actual explosions.

Yo this is incredibly well done for a 3D fight animation. You animate hits and speed incredibly well. When they move quickly it really feels so, and the hits have a definite impact. That's normally something that bothers me with fan-made 3D animated fight scenes, they can either normally get the running and speed down, or make the damage have impact. My hat is truly off to you. The only minor critique are some of the sound sampkes are from different places and can be more or less tinny or compressed, but if those are the sounds you have, those are the sounds you have. But very well done. Edit: not to mention the amount of care and detail you put in to make them truly feel like Kirby, the bouncy movements are the beginning, the way modern inhaled, it really feels like Kirby, which is super cool
Reason how modern kirby won. Modern kirby can use more moves then classic as classic has a smallish arsenal of attacks. Yes his ability to switch from ability to ability is a problem but modern kirby has more experience fighting even if he hasnt used the old abilitys over a long time.

You turned Kirby into a multi-phase boss and it works real well! I love the insane speed of Ball and the movement of Plasma! The little touches you put everywhere were great! The only real constructive criticism I have is Kirby's run cycle, particularly at the start of the fight - it's a little wonky, and seems bugged. Also, your use of particles was fantastic! Did you use a BFG ball for the giant Plasma ball? What was the purple smoke particle?
Hat will be a good idea for the next kirby, kirby will have to a past version of himself in one of the levels to test how far he gotten since his first adventure.

Well. . . when I first started making this video, ThePixel hadn't put the Ultimate Model out yet, so I only had the Wii U one at the time. In addition, some colors are difficult for me to replicate on the Ultimate model (Such as Plasma's coloration) while the Wii U model has it.
I love the animation but i think it would be better if Modern Kirby only used modern abilities like water or PSI And Classic only used classic abilities like the ones on the vid. Meh, only my opinion, i still love your vid

Despite what his design in the animation implies, he never really had a design that looked too much like that. However, in SSA, he got the new 3D design, along with countless other changes. Even though it was only in cutscenes, Kirby did get a very similar design to the next games’ design, which is still used. Also, we got the True Arena, along with Soul bosses. I don’t think pause screen lore was introduced in that game, but it already has a variety of important new features. Along with the new things that are available, the theme of Kirby started to change. It went from completely bright and cheerful to a multi-layered game, largely the same on the outside, but with much more lore and difficulty if you chose to find it. Of course, you’re entitled to your opinion, but I just wanted to explain my own standpoint. Sorry for how long this is, but thank you for reading it.
