I’ve played with both it really depends on the person. Switch to the opposite for 3+ months and figure out the timing and methods to press the key in different ways that work the best for you then stick with it for a while so you can figure out which is better for u

What about if u use double edit binds cuz ive been using eor on since it came out but since i use double binds it may be faster if i go back to eor off what do u think?

My select button is the same as my wall button and aim. my reset button is the same as my ramp button and shoot. My confirm button is the same as my cone button and cycle weapons right. I also have auto confirm edits off but auto confirm resets on.

If you want to be really fast in editing and dont want to sacrifice your crosshairplacement then try triple or double binds.
Stop. I've been trying to use double edit binds for months now it's so hard to use them while building. In edit courses it's no dif. But actually adding that extra button press during free builds is so challenging 😭

ive played on both setting multiple times and i can say edit on release off is better objectively because you can hold turbo build through your edits and confirm while holding down your mouse so you are continuously turbo building instead of having to release your finger off of the mouse for a moment to start building again which stops other players from taking your own builds way more.

mongraal and asianjeff also use eor off and asianjeff especially is really fast at editing so it shows you can be fast on both

@@noxy.3 yes you do. Confirming whether or not you're using a separate bind to click or by releasing your select button does not change your delay. Same was as using double binds while being faster than both single bind eor and eor off, still is subject to your ping.
What are ur settings
Edit on release on to edit on release off player here. I had EoR off since chapter 2 season 2 and only switched a season ago, my personal opinion, I prefer release off, it took me two months to learn how to edit with release off and i've grown in skill drastically as a player because of it.
I’m still on double edits, can’t get use to edit on release and haven’t tried single bound in years
opposite for me, tried double binds but i couldnt get used to it

Just keep practicing and your finger will eventually be pressing the edit button once

The thing is edit on release is easiest setting for controller ahha 😂 like optimal setting for confirm is l1 or r1 but that would take me too long to learn 😭😭
Btw pxlarize is also edit release off
you didn't mention that but im my opinion, if you have decently high ping in real games 35-40+, edit on release off should be out of the question
Not even close. I sometimes play on NAE as an EU player and have EOR off. It doesn't make a difference when on higher ping

@@noam1126 it's hard to edit fast with high ping yes. Not with eor off. With enough practice it's the same as eor on. Being on higher ping, edit on release off it's not even close to out of the question.
i play eor on my whole life but i switched to eor off and it’s THE BEST my peaks have better been better

Make your secondary edit button the button you want to use for confirm.
For example, If you edit with F, then make your secondary edit button your confirm button like V.

Who Want Edit On Release Just Comment Down Below
Dont release the mouse button and it wont edit. When you want to confirm the edit let go of the mouse button.
