Is it better to have set keyboard or edit on release? Or does it differ player to player and should I give it a try I’ve been getting serious about this game
Been using edit on release since it's been released into the game, and there definitely are some negatives to it, but the positives far outweigh the downsides imo. You can basically do all edits twice as fast. double edits, triple edits, quad edits, etc. It also has to match the playstyle of the player though. You're a very smart player, and you have good mechanics, but you win majority of your fights making simple builds and edits. Not doing anything flashy, or playing very quickly. That's what makes you so fun to watch. Every build and edit you make is perfectly placed and timed. Your understanding of the game and being able to read other player's playstyle and use it against them is art.
i’ve used edit on release since it came out aswell but i switched back to edit on release off and became so much better idk what it is but u can be almost as fast as ppl that play with edit on release and make way smarter and consistent edits, imo off is way better if u wanna improve at the game and on is better if you’re just a creative warrior
Tip for edit on release: you can still confirm edits like with EOR off, you just have to press the confirm bind faster than you take your finger off the edit bind, which is basically what you do for faster edits anyway.
@@obitouchiha4821 if you are using the same bind for confirm and edit you are holding yourself back bro, having a different bind for confirm and edit allows you to edit a lot faster.
@@xrcoh i mean if you Are on EDIT on release your left mouse click is basically your confirm Right ? Also i see alot of Pros only using one Bind like E for Edit and confirm
@@obitouchiha4821 Yeah that is correct, but confirming the edit manually is faster than using EOR. You don't notice it when doing 1 edit but when you do double/triple edits you can easily tell that you're editing faster. Also using one bind for edit and confirm is still faster than EOR but using a different bind for edit and confirm is the fastest.
can you play a game where you play on high ping (50-70) , really curious to see your playstyle if you cannot take walls and stuff since I struggle with that myself.
Honestly if you wanna switch because it’s faster, switch to double edit binds, they should be easy to get used to as they are similar to edit on release off with single edit binds. They are way faster than edit on release on and off. If you tried for a few weeks, you could probably be better than you are now.
@@yeet-zn2kh fr, i tried for a week and got pretty decent, though I’m not switching because I don’t have any free binds due to my gmk joystick, but his keyboard are different so he might have a free bind for it
Edit on release off is best for beginners like my myself. If you want to learn fundamentals heavily based around piece control and right hand peaks I suggest you turn it on.
I’ve heard the best thing is to use both edit on release, and double edit binds at the same time , and it’s faster than using just one or just the other .
Martoz which do you think is better because I recently switched off edit on release because I learned that asianjeff and you don't play on it. should I stick to edit on release (what I'm use to) or off?
I think this video convinced me to switch back to a dedicated confirm bind. Didn't even realize my cross hair placement was being effected like that lol
@@samuelpanic115 edit on release is probably better on controller. There's some people that argue either way. I play both and I much prefer EOR on controller
It's pretty easy with a bit of practice. Only things that's slightly slower is regular single tile edits. But for everything else you can do it pretty much at the same speed with a bit of practice
Code martoz in the itemshop if you want to support me ❤
