      Agreed, specially for Filthy carpets a rotary is a must, if wand is the only option then a pre agitation is a must.

      Thanks Nate, this is the dirtiest carpet for 2019 that I got. When we saw the condition my son was about to run away from the job trying to convince him lol, I had to increase the price significantly to take the job. I am glad that I took it and I know what I am capable of. This is something unusual, the homes that I service are decent. Go figure it out.

    what is the minimum PSI for that machine ??? Looks real good.

    • @NotTooExtreme
      @NotTooExtreme 4 роки тому

      Hi, I am only using 200 psi. If wand is been used then I increase it to 400-500 psi if it's this dirty.

      Hi, it is the mytee trex Jr rotary machine. I use it on filthy carpets like this one.

      @@robertocuba76 yes my friend great thinking, I have a sebo to fix those lines this is another vid of mine using the sebo to remove the swirls. I use the sebo only for this purpose so it stays clean.

      Does that have the brush head? Do you wand the edges first,?

    • @NotTooExtreme
      @NotTooExtreme 4 роки тому

      @@breakbeats27 Hi, yes it does have the brush head.
      I do edge it with a wand but it all depends when to edge. If the customer doesn't mind the swirl marks then I edge before the Trex. If the customer wants me to correct those swirls then I edge and wand after I am done with the trex.

    what psi and vacumm motors do o need to properly operate a trex jr?

    • @NotTooExtreme
      @NotTooExtreme 4 роки тому +2

      Hi to operate a Trex jr you need the dual HP 5.7 3 stage in parallel set up or dual mytee LX 6.6 and to get great results you can't go more then 50ft of 2 in hose. And you need to have 2 in hose rather then 1.5 for maximum CFM. If the hose run is longer then 50 ft then you will need a booster. In this place I had a booster between because I ran 100 ft from my truck.
      Although Trex jr is great for filthy carpets Lately my T-Rex jr is for sale I don't use it anymore because slows me down and I don't want to carry a booster in my truck. I bought a crb, I will use it to pre scrub those filthy carpets before extraction.

    What are the drying times like?

    • @carpetcleaning999
      @carpetcleaning999  4 роки тому

      Hi Vincent, I always tell my customers 2-4 hours of drying time. I don't leave lots of moisture on the carpet. I am a big believer of extra dry passes.
