This movie from the infamous Fine Brothers has been one of our most requested commentary tracks, and honestly? F you guys for making us sit through it. We can't tell if this is meant to be taken at surface value or if it's actually a sarcastic commentary on youth culture, but either way it sucks and I'm not positive which would be worse. The only silver lining is that now you must suffer as well.

Which is amusing considering they have a show dedicated to ONLY talking to teenagers
Imagine working with teens everyday and not knowing what they actually say
Judging by these lines, it should stay that way
This movie also screams the fact that the Fine Bros were those weird kids in the cafeteria in suits and ties, sketching out future business plans once they invest in bitcoin or whatever, while everyone else was worried about having friends and getting to class on time.
That's why they legit never talked to a teenager in their whole life.
And it also screams "I have never been on school grounds my whole life"

Can confirm that I was homeschooled and this is what media tends to make us think high school is like. Obviously at some point I understood it wasn't really the case but when I was 16 I genuinely thought it was like that (but with less sexual harassment thank god)

Actually, it’s pretty funny. If it was in a good high school comedy, like Mean Girls, it could work. Honestly, it’s oddly real. Like, I don’t know about your high school but at mine, seniors and freshman get together all the time, gosh, even I’ve got a dude I might go out with. The point being, technically, I have a feeling statutory happens a lot just because there's no doubt some of the seniors are 18 or over. In . that way, it was funny in how it hit close to home.

Watching other videos about this movie I found out the Fine Brothers were mostly homeschooled, which Is probably the best explanation for the oddness and terribleness of it all. They don’t even have an actual high school experience to draw from, so they created an exaggerated high school story based based on previous high school stories, mostly movies, that are already over exaggerated. That at least explains a little about how this happens.
