Been in/out of Yosemite most of my life (77 years). Seen some high water years, but never seen the falls this full, nor views like the ones you've captured . Thanks for your obvious love of this special place, and your cinematic touch. Rick F.

Wow, you did some serious hiking! I lived close to Yosemite for decades and have done many of those hikes. I‘ve also taken thousands of photos there (no videos) so I know how difficult it is to film very exuberant waterfalls! Your videography is spectacular! I especially appreciated the rainbow on Vernal Fall. Great timing! I only saw it once, and I didn’t have a very good camera then. Thank you, your efforts are very much appreciated! ❤

Thank you for this! I met my wife in Yosemite valley in May 1985 and today is our 36th anniversary. The falls were high then, but not like this, and some like Sentinel weren't flowing.
Having hiked all of this back in the late 80s into 91 I know how much effort you put into this video. You did well with what you had. Get yourself a Gopro for future adventures. Use a foam wind block on those windy outings and a polarizer. Set the sharpness to medium. The last time I saw the falls close to this full was in 91.

Been to Yosemite 5 to 6 times. Have hiked all the trails in and out of the valley. It is a beautiful place but can be dangerous. Had a young man get pulled over Nevada Falls back in 2013. 700 foot drop. Getting too old to do what I did back then. Enjoy life while your still young enough to do it.

I've walked with this man many a mile (link below) and he has a strange ability to go faster downhill than you think should be safe. It turns out it isn't safe and he's just really good at not falling.
