Pride of the Yankees and Sgt York should be on everyone's must see list. As well as high noon.
Both films make me laugh and cry, he is my favourite actor of all time.

I saw "Pride of the Yankees" as a child in the 50s and his performance of Lou Gerhig still brings tears to my eyes.
