We are all extremely excited about this highly suspicious E1 of a singer whose voice is slightly more beautiful then that of a vast majority of many others bass singers

London Paris is both something else and a very underrated bass singer

Was privileged to get to hang out with London in the eighties, even went to his house in Memphis a few times. As much as he was a character, he was also a real gentleman, and as we know, one of the greatest bass singers that ever lived. Miss guys like he, J.D. and George.

One of his strong points is that he Articulated his notes very well by utilizing his natural bass voice. He's in my top five for Southern Gospel Bass Singers.

That is the problem with many "bass" singers that London didn't have: they have low notes, but without serious phonation or sang lyrics. You can tell a real bass with ease, with how they articulate to get from one note to the next. London's E1 was a spoken vocal fry, but still with chest (modal) voice involvement... that's actually quite impressive and shows the true nature of his bass voice.

London never did use fry in 1th octave

@@ntanzar911, there was some slight fry with that E1, but to be fair, it was spoke-word and at the very bottom of his chest range. It was chest-fry, which normally sounds good from a bass of his caliber. Now, a wannabe bass using pure fry sounds horrible.

It doesn't sounds like chest fry, it does sounds like true chest

19:20 "Who's at My Door Standing?"
Idk if it's still avaliable, but that was in Bass Singers Tribute Page on fb, the one who's managed by Eric Winston and other singers.
