And unless you've built a huge amount of credit, usually over years, you will always be doubted like how Kane was called one season wonder for years, ironically. Whether it's right or wrong is debatable but it's not novel and it shouldn't be unusual for that to be the case now.

But I accept what you say on credit in the bank, yes he falls short there in the overall scheme of things. That said, he's still got some in my bank, he could be in the overdraft by the end of the season (4 defeats in a row) and at that point I'd review the situation. He probably should try now and shut up shop for the remaining games to save his job. If he keeps to his principles with these players, then he will be fired because I don't think Ineos will accept 3 PL defeats and FA Cup loss. If course this will impact the team performance! Look at what happened Pool last season and City this season when Rodri was out for a while. These things can't be overlooked

The problem is a new manager comes in and all these players start playin like they're the best in the league, they do it every time we get a new manager, and performance changes minds, then they all play crap again then next season, n we get another manager and then players pull up again, we need to stick with a manager for once in 10 yrs, Ten Hag has had wat too much to deal with, and he's being uncertain if he's going to be able to, he cant diss players if he doesn't know if he's done or the players are
Plus if Ineos really want to make a big statement to most of the squad the obvious thing to do would be back the manager for once, if they know he's secure that means playing for him is the only thing saving them.

We didnt get it wrong with ten hag....we got wrong giving it to him without an agreement on the expected style of play. We just gave him too much control...control to play anyhow...control of transfers etc. even pep doesnt have veto powers im his contract. Hes been given 50 percent at most of the players he actually asked for! The injurys that have dictaded player selection most of the season, playeds not following instructions and rules, players outing him. I know its hard i really do, im old enough to remember the good days but ive also been present since saf retired and nothing structually till now has changed! Ten hags failures are largley brought on from the club failing him! Give him till the end of his contract at the least under a proper footballing structure, hes took us to 4 finals and won 1, hopefully a second come the fa cup final! Thats got to count for something

Ten hagg is not made for a big club. He is not flexible enough to make changes or manage players and resources to achieve success. This is seen in his poor rotation of players, bad team structure,selection, and tactics in games, etc. Onana has cost him so many games, but he has just refused to try Bahinder. He refused to play amad even when Anthony is playing bad, Pellestri sent away etc. Ten hagg manages to piss off players who could fight for him and stick to mediocre ones to death. They will eventually hand him a sack.

He had a playing style, a philosophy, and the balls to get rid of players with bad attitude. Guendouzi, Aubaneyang, and Ozil were axed, and again he backed his words 'non-negotiables'. This idea that Arteta was given time and so other managers should he given time too, needs context. Arteta turned it around, not just because he was given time, but also becsuse he is capable.

Im not even a United fan but i think the problem is the Culture, a lot of the players even though they aint playing need to go Shaw/Rashford and players like this cause all the young players see and work with these players in training and they will start picking up the bad habbits. There are NO role models at the club for the Maino/Garnacho and Hojlund to look upto and learn from. The behaviour from the Senior players would not of been tolerated in Fergies Time and unfortunately Ten Hag tried this route of discplining but he has no pedrigree in the game to impliment in my eyes so the players dont listen.
For me with this New Regime from the top
1 - Get rid of the dead wood even if you have to take a loss ( united still the bigest in the world for sponsers etc they could take it )
2 - Bring a new manager in who is happy to work with the new D.o.F but also has a history of winning, for me ( S Inzaghi )
3 - Sign/Utilise players who will run into the ground for the shirt/Badge ( Gallagher/ Mount /Lisandro Martinez )
4 - Look into the medical team United have had far too many injuries this season
If United go for Potter or Southgate i cant see this project going anywhere which i know sounds disrespectful but they're not Winners in my eyes, and breeding this into the new/current crop of players needs to come from the Manager

If winning the Cup makes INEOS keep him, I will be very skeptical about the future. It will basically mean evidence of ONE game is chosen over evidence of an entire season. Makes zero sense.
If they do keep him, it should be based on proper reasons. Maybe if they are convinced of his ideas, and that he can deliver the style of football they want, and believe they can give him all the necessary tools to do that. However it looks very unlikely.

I was ETH in until last night. He has made too many mistakes in squad management for him to continue. You can't credit him for anything positive except for his domestic cup runs. His recruitment has been poor, he can't keep his squad fit because they are overplayed or not playing enough to be match sharp. Letting DDH, CR7, Fred and others will be his downfall. Their value in the dressing room and their understanding of what the fans want from their players on and off the pitch has been missing. We haven't replaced them with the quality needed to improve. Loosing millions in UCL, and shirt sales which all factor into FFP rules we have taken a massive step backwards. Millions spent on the wrong players in wrong positions means that we couldn't progress. The club was too big for him. It's OK to say we got it wrong.
Give him the first ten games next season with a full squad

The reasons for the player mistakes is because the system creates chaos. For this "system" to work, ETH needs the 11 best players in the world in every position, and it would still be massively flawed. Every other team wants more players in midfield other than ETH who seems to want less players there. Crazy to me

Flex said it right there, you're allowed to change your mind based of new information. I hate the "we said" statements, so I'm only gonna talk for me. My priority was getting us to play a better style of football, something more front foot. Something where I can see it leading to wins consistently. Even when I season I questioned Why aren't we playing better football, why don't I see the transition happening. Then this season it like going from being pulled in one direction to full throttle in the opposite direction. Nothing is and has been working. The injuries yes, but what has this manager done to mitigate those injuries, Maguire was literally our last defender standing why wasn't he wrapped in bubble tape?? I'm not calling for the manager to be sacked but every argument for him getting time doesn't make sense to me personally

We have played good football in patches but look at who are available? Some players know they are leaving, some are not strong physically to get around the pitch etc. Lets face it, some midfielders we have are not even as good as the elneny at arsenal or kalvin philips.
