Yes, nice sunset and for once not too windy. You could hear the distant traffic on the new bridge, but not too loud. I like your bridges cruise video...been meaning to do one of those before winter time.

It was an interesting site seeing it empty, would have been great to walk on the cariageway.
Apparently it's going to take around 2 months to carry out work on the bridge, so it will be pedestrians & cyclists only until then.
Aye heard that, Took ages trying to get a photo the other night would have been better if you could get into the middle but it was about ti re-open then.
Taxis and busses go across all the time it wasn’t abandon, it’s damaged therefore they built the new bridge. And loads of people cycle and walk

No...it seems to be OK to walk down the middle. For the next few weeks anyway.
surely the old road bridge would be kept open if ever the new bridge closes due to unforeseen circumstances like if ever a ship sailed into it 😂
Yeah they're keeping it open...it's just closed for a few weeks for repairs. Ship collision is possible but unlikely (never happened with the FRB)...but the FRB will be there if needed!
