Man, I'm 17 minutes in this video, and for sure I'm gonna watch all of it, but let me tell this already. You're the best gamer I've ever seen. It takes an amount of skill that only one in a million can obtain in order to do things at this speed, while taking all the boxes, and while not dying one single time. You finished the second island and I didn't saw neither one single mistake in your run. It's gonna be a challenge to me through this video, see if at least once you mess up things. When the game came up, I tried to get the 106%, but I gave up when I met the N. Sanely Perfect Relics, I mean, that was to much for me. Whatever, you are really pro dude, greetins from Chile.
I mean i play the game because its in plus, and game like this i do the platinum trophy, i am 27 hours in and did everything perfect and all gems, the only stuff that is left are the relics and after that i did 106%
I am a fan of Crash Bandicoot series and I find out CB4 is the greatest game in the series. While I tried very hard and struggle to get any platinum relic of every map and you completed the entire of this game with 106% in under 7 hours. It's incredible and you inspired me to keep playing this game to enjoy its exciment and how its difficulty bringing to us.

I don’t understand how against the first boss you were able to hit him right away and didn’t have to dodge the shit that comes at you
If i were to guess, i'd say i have around 900 hours of experience with this game. With the 1st boss, you just land in between the drums and perform a slide spin. Simple as that!

Man it took me almost 3 months to unlock all the achievements in this game and you 106% in least that 7 hours. What a gamer. I have a question in 1:24:55 how did you ended the level with 229/228 boxes?
In that level, we can dupe 1 box by trigerring the TNT right before the bonus and entering said bonus super fast. If you notice, as soon as i enter the bonus, i already have 1 box in the counter, which means that the TNT that i activated counted twice (once outside the bonus, once inside the bonus)
Why did you bother jumping on those 2 boxes at 1:59:30? They explode later when you activate the box which destroy the nitro boxes. PS: what an amazing run.
When I did this run, we always used to get these 2 boxes for the 80% wumpa requirement, but the route has improved and both these boxes are no longer needed

Thanks for the kind words! I've always used the default the game gives me for the slide spins, being R1+Square because it lets me use my index on R1 while my thumb stays in charge of Square and Jump (with x). I've heard some friends of mine use L1 to spin, but for me that feels really unnatural😅. And keep going at it! Patience will reward you with the plat relics

If you rewind to the bonus stage, you can see that i entered and i already had 1 box. I did a little trick where i made the TNT before the bonus count as 2 boxes broken, so i can effectively miss 1 box and still get the gem

Around the 2 hour mark and the 5 hour mark you get bathroom breaks because there's a very long rail section where you don't need to press anything

It's essentially muscle memory. I've been speedrunning this game for around 1 year and a half, so all of it just comes naturally at this point

Be patient, learn the levels and get used to the mechanics. The faster you accept that you will die a lot, the more fun you will have with the game
What happened during the N. Gin fight?
The platforming started before the energy discs even got launched
If you slide and spin N. Gin like i did, you can completely skip the energy discs phase
Is there any specific timing, i might try it myself
