Actually the best views are at the Smith Tower, if the observation level is still open. As like the Space Needle, it has an outdoor area. Haven’t been in about a decade, but Space Needle Day/Night tickets were a great deal.
San Antonio Texas has a similar restaurant/landmark. Meals are expensive, but in addition, San Antonio has the Riverwalk and The Alamo. Eating at a Riverwalk restaurant is much cheaper than the tower, has better ambience and the food might be better. I ate the most tenderized sirloin steak of my life there. I barely had to chew because it was so tender and it had been soaked in some kind of sauce-chef's kiss!! OMG Good!!

I went to the tower last week, the view from the tower was so underwhelming.
