I champion you and I know that with determination and hard work you can absolutely SMACK your upcoming Prelims and Finals.
My FINAL advice to you: Draw - Draw - Draw as many drawings you can under similar time constraints to what you will have in the exams.
SUGGESTED TIME BREAKDOWN FOR PRACTISE DRAWINGS
15min for Analytic Questions
30-35min for all other drawings such as Isometric, Two Point, Etc.
90min for all Civil and Mechanical Assembly Drawings
You will not have more time than what I am referring to above, therefore, please do not in your preparation use more time than stated above. You have to practice until you can finish these drawings within the given time frames,

Hi Sir, how many Mechanical assembly drawings do you recommend we do/practice before a test?
Hi Richard, great questions, thanks you. Back when I was in Grade 12 my teacher gave me copies of all the EGD exam papers for the past 8 years and I made sure I drew each and every one of those drawings leading up to finals. The more you draw, the more confidence you gain... All the best for your own finals!

Hi sir, I'm not exactly sure what the line in the middle of a half section should look like..? In the JPEGD workbook it said that it should be a light solid line, but in the memo's of these assembly drawings, it is still a center line.
Great question Annika, I told my learner's to keep it a centre line as per Memo's... I am going to follow-up up with JPEGD regarding this for clarification. All the best...
