I have an MSI MAG X670E with the same bullshit going on. I’ve used an MSI board for 15 years now and it’s still running, so I figured I would buy MSI again. Silly me. MSI boards are garbage now, I strongly advise you people to look elsewhere. Hopefully there’s a fix for these trash boards. Thanks for sharing!
@@cinematicgta5758 actually i haven't fixed that i think that's because of SMPS ,,,, i have applied for claim still it's in process , I'll inform u if it was smps or motherboard!
Thank you very much. I had the same issue, and I am glad I searched on UA-cam and found your clip to resolve this issue. Here is more information, and I hope this helps: "For most motherboards, including the MSI MAG X870 TOMAHAWK, the primary dual-channel slots are usually slots 2 and 4 (or DIMMB2 and DIMMA2). These slots are optimized for dual-channel performance. Slots 2 and 4 are typically better positioned in terms of signal integrity for the memory controller, which can result in fewer issues during system initialization." - this is counter-intuitive I think, since "1 & 3" normally are more prioritized than "2 & 4" in everyday life. LOL
Bro i love you so much, this was the only solution for my msi that was with the red and the yellow light, i was crying bro and you came like an angel ❤❤
My MSI MAG B650M MORTAR WIFI AM5 does the same thing. I just never turn the PC off, but if I have to reboot, it takes up to nine minutes for it to decide what it wants to do and finally work. I was going to pay micorcenter to see if they can fix it, but I think its just a lemon company now.
Brother upgraded for Christmas got a 7600x and I got him the same ram here 32gb Corsair and I got him an Aio cooler and he got a Msi motherboard a B650-p wifi pro..I spent hours cleaning and putting it together and btw this is my first time putting a aio cooler in so I very well may have done it wrong but all I’m getting now is red and yellow light and no luck displaying..No idea what to do at this point
I have the exact same specs as you and it helped but then after 20 seconds my pc just shuts down again. Do you know how to fix? cpu and motherboard are brand new
Not working for me.. i have brand new b650 gaming plus wifi motherboard. Tried everything like removing the cmos battery.. opened processor again out it back.. still cpu debug red light on
Same on a b650m. Brand new. And with vengeance ram I installed windows then the bsod started happening. I was able to post and ran a memory test. The memory was erroring. Tested existing memory on my other desktop all was good. Swapped them over. And on the new machine the old memory errored, but the new memory on the old machine was fine. So it's a CPU or motherboard issue. But now I can't post at all stuck on the red light. Tomorrow will resit the CPU. And try some new ram that is on the compatibility list. And if that doesn't work I'll try the CPU in a different (non MSI) motherboard.
Okay... You only do this 1 time? Or do you do it every single time you turn on the pc? I have almost the same problem... The yellow light comes on it then turns off and then my pc boots to windows. But I think it is too slow.
I just had this happen today out of nowhere. I have the same board and 7800x3d. Do you have to do that every time you turn your computer off and back on?
I order to fix it you first must take out the cmoss battery, open bios , this will be your only chance before you have to complete step one again. You need to change your ram to 5800 mt instead of 6000 ram controllers on the motherboard are bad rn. Hmu for info guys I know the solution!!!
@ yes I got you , so the issue is your ram timing n ram controller , you’ll need to clear your cmos, you’ll need to just make sure expo or xmp or sum is on. Then if your ram is over 6000mt you’ll need to make it 5800 mt instead . Change to the proper mhz as well. Also the 7800x3d has a bit of issues with 4 channel ram. Two 2. Then swap to your other set to rule out faulty ram. Remember to clear your cmos if it doesn’t been, also be very patient so your pc trains the ram . If it doesn’t work lmk.
I had this problem. Mine was caused by AMD software which bricked my pc. I removed the bios battery (silver coin cell under my GPU), left it unplugged from mains for 24hrs. Put battery back in, powered it up and it worked like new. Well almost, had problems connecting to the internet via WiFi or Ethernet. But thankfully it is sorted now. My system was running great until I put the AMD software on it. 🚨*DO NOT DO THIS* Please never switch off a pc with just the PSU switch. This can cause a massive discharge from the PSU capacitors which will go through the motherboard and all connected components. *DO NOT DO THIS* 🚨
