The Current Clamp Meter should be on the Positive, or Red wire, you are seeing a DC ground loop through the coax when you are only seeing 7 Amps for 350 Watts. Should be closer to 35 Amps.
Wrong ... Your clamp meter is looping man... Your gonna be much higher than 7.2 amps at 350 watts . Ohms law is ohms law ... When you make 350 watts of Rf on am your consumption is much more than 7.2 amps ... It's simple match bro... Your looping and using your clamp meter wrong
Your giving crazy false info ....I can key my amps on ssb for 5 minutes .... The amp must be built and ran in the proper classification for the mode of operation .. ssb ab-1 .. I even run ab-1 for AM.. if you Wana sound good run bias on AM aswell not just ssb... Bias will improve your audio in any mode of operation..the classs will make more meter movement and drawl less current but less clean ... But what I am arguing here is the amp consumption..350 watts u will be more upwards of 30 plus amps dude on am ...have great day. Same here. Shouldn’t the meter be on the positive wire???
Only 7.2 amps on am at 325watts
Yes.

You know better ...😊
More current ..
That's nice but could you do a video on fm same amp i like to see those numbers thank you sir 73's
Will do. However keep in mind that a Class C will be better for FM, not a class B, AB
FM will show the same wattage as the AM unmodulated carrier.
@@nz8n470 i was wondering current draw any changes
For price list

Funny..you'd think full duty cycle like am would pull more amps than ssb
