Since you took the padding off from the nike part you should of made the gucci fabric a tab bit small so the foot can be secure and not wobbly from not having the cushion from the nike part

What did you mean by you can use leather but you like to have double Gucci fabric ? Is it for the strength ?
Titania's Creation yes it’s for strength since she completely removed the original strap piece from the slide. Personally, since I’m lazy, I wouldn’t use double fabric. Instead, I’d just glue the fabric on top of original the strap.
uhh since you were going to remove the upper anyway why didn't you just flatten it out and trace the pattern from it after you removed it? why all the taping and all that to make a pattern? Am I missing something?
