That is freaking fantastic! i wish i had the tools you have, would make my shot glass cabinet a lot nicer. Anyway, really great job. I love how much you care about making a great product. Thanks for taking the time to show us this video.
Popo, I am new to woodworking. At the 10 minute mark you make the depression for the shot glasses. What tool is that? A drill press? And which bit did you use? How do you ensure the depth is consistent on each spot?
Don't know if you still need this answered, but I would build a little thing to keep the bit upright and just use a normal drill. So, imagine this crude drawing here represents a small wooden arch that is sized to fit around the shelves and it has a short section of PVC pipe in the top to keep the bit upright. Put the bit up through the PVC before tightening it into the drill. Hope that helps! __ [] __ | |
@@allenlewis5689 yeah that helps! Thank you! I have already made it and just kinda put my drill up as well as I could close to a 90 degree angle. Still looking to invest in a drill press pretty soon tho
ONLY ONE CONCERN USING THAT GRADE OF WOOD OR ANY PINE SPECIES, SHOULD HAVE CONDITIONED THE WOOD BEFORE STAINING TO ELIMINATE BLOTCHING, OTHERWISE, GREAT JOB..
Great idea. I'm going to make this for my friend who collects shot glasses. I on the other hand just USE shot glasses.
Very well done Shot Glass shelve! Someone has a nice collection 👍
Looks awesome, I have a ton of shot glasses and was always looking for a way to display them, I think I’m gonna give this a shot. No pun intended lol

That is beautiful how would you put glass doors on it??
Great job! I may make some of these for Christmas gifts. I made several of your hat racks last year for Christmas gifts and they were a hit!
Nice, I may need one of these one day.
Great job. Very well explained also.
Nice work with using miter saw for the dado slots.
Cleve's Backyard Woodworking Thanks!

Great Job Buddy.
What you made, the shot glass cabinet, is absolutely gorgeous! How much would you charge for these?
Yes how much would you charge for one of these?
Dude I love it. I REALLY like your vidjos.
Looks great.
Nice job!
Very nice job!
Do you think this design can be modified to have a plexiglass door, and maybe some LED lights on the inside to light it up?
Absolutely, that wouldn’t be hard at all
Awesome! Good job! ♥♥♥
looks good!! good job!!
Looks good,

Yes it’s a drill press. On the drill press it has a depth stop. You can set it and it will only go down to that point.
that is amazing.
Really solid design. Just wondering if you had any tips of a way to create the holes for the shot glasses without owning a drill press? Thanks!

I want to build one similar but with sliding glass doors
how to did you secure the top and bottom board? Just glue then then clamp them?
Yes sir, just glue. I made sure I gave it enough time to dry completely before moving it around.
I feel as though that pun was actually intended!

I need thisssss
