If you don't have sand in your teeth, you're not trying hard enough. My favorite blokart video on YT. It captures the thrill of it. Sailing them tidal flats in such weather is challenging...but so much fun. Been sailing for a year now...there's no going back.😊
Terrific video and musical background that captures the imagination of people like me who want to have a crack at blokarting. Well done to the organisers and video producers (Daniel & David). 🎉🎉🎉 Dave (4101 QLD)
No brakes on the rear wheels. You can install one on the front wheel, but I'm not sure if you're allowed to race with it. Blokarts tack and gybe plenty quick, no need for rear brakes to help.

Awesome video, watched it twice. As a windsurfer, we use induced camber sails. Do people use these types of sails on blow carts or is there a specific design plan you must follow?
Ya gotta love it, Unfortunately for Me, I live in Connecticut.. There's no space to sail, (none).. I'm ready to build one.. but, I'll never be able to use it.
We have several Blokart sailors in CT. They sail on Hammonasset Beach or they come over here to RI to places like Ninigret Park, Scarborough Beach overflow lot, 1st beach in NPT, 2nd beach in NPT, and the Newport Grand lot. Plus we have major events at the best place on the US East Coast which is Loring AFB in upstate Maine where several sailors from CT, NJ, and NY all join us in New England to sail and race. Runways are 2mi long!
Hand brake on back axel that digs into the ground but illegal to use unless emergency. Disk brake available for front wheel but not good for beach use. It is rare to sea brakes on beach Blokart’s.
Find the sail area to mass ratio of these land sailers and then use it to find out how big of a sail you'd need to move your car with any efficiency. It'd have to be pretty huge

Sails must be of Blokart supply.

do any of these things have differential braking on the back wheels for quick turns, instant jibes and tacks etc?
Hand brake on back axel that digs into the ground but illegal to use unless emergency.
Disk brake available for front wheel but not good for beach use. It is rare to sea brakes on beach Blokart’s.
Where was this filmed? I would love to come and watch these in action!
Mulumbin beach near yeppoon QLD
Can a sail be added to a full-scale car with mass of 2 metric tons?
off course, but if it moves is the question
