There are cheaper options nearby. Opposite Sultan Mosque along North Bridge Road you’ll see Zam Zam, Victory, Hajah Maimunah and many more.
Yes we check out lots of more affordable places for the rest of the trip 😊

Lovely 🌹
Oh my, hearing the Adhan reminds me of the olden days (70s) when I'll often hear it from the mosque in the neighbourhood but somehow or other, never heard again in later years. I realised I didn't wonder why though the mosque is still there. Duh.
It’s a lovely mosque 🙏🏽
Nice Singapura
We loved it 😍

Some of the rooms at MBS hotel are doing upgrading works, hence the netting.
Yes hopefully it’ll be finished soon 😊🙏🏼
@@ZoeCzar most are finished and more fancy than the old rooms
Singapore is nearer to equator. Also it is an island. So that maybe the reason for the weather change
Yes that makes sense it felt very different 🥵
Waooo
Good
Lately started late May the weather was horrendous hot.
Very hot indeed 🥵
U came during our warmest month(april-july) temperature would reach 35c. Our coldest month dec-jan under 25c n thriughout the year its about 30c 😢
Hahaha we’re kind of used to heat from being in south east Asia but the humidity in Singapore is pretty intense 😅
Lily pond is the hidden photo spot. Just some people know this place.
It’s a beautiful spot 😍
Singapore
I love 🇸🇬 ❤👍
Can see why, such an amazing country 😍🤩
letssss gooo! :D thats such a cool apple store, we miss singapore, we could happily live in the airport itself and also makes a good base in asia too, you know what! we never seen this part of Singapore before! (noted Zoe likes mexican food) the price is also very similar in NZ
by the way speaking of apple, have you seen the latestApple AR/VR headset announced yesterday? czar imagine editing videos on it and watching movies on it
Brooo I wanted to buy a new Apple headphones 🥲🫶🏼

Is Singapore really one of the most expensive city in the world?
Yes Singapore and New York 🥲
Yeah tbh you went to expensive food places. There are cheaper alternatives
Yes this was just the first day, but after this we found good spots and cheaper hawker centres 😊🙏🏼
Singapore 🇸🇬 is not your typical South East Asia city that you have visited i.e. Thailand🇹🇭, Philippines 🇵🇭, Malaysia 🇲🇾, Indonesia 🇮🇩, Vietnam 🇻🇳, Cambodia 🇰🇭, Myanmar 🇲🇲 or even Brunei 🇧🇳. A combination of Modern Architecture surrounded by old British 🇬🇧 colonial buildings with lush foliage on the skyscrapers. Very westernized and contemporary yet still preserve the old rustic looks of old village settings. The price of accommodation and food tends to be on the pricey side if you dine on a mostly touristy flank. Go to hawker centers for cheaper options in Singapore 🇸🇬. There is plenty of it here and to approximate is beyond comparison. Hope you relish the adventure of staying here in Singapore 🇸🇬.
Kampong Glam:-
The word 'kampong' means "compound" in Malay, while 'gelam' refers to the long-leaved paperbark tree, commonly found in the area and used for boat-making.
Kampong Glam:-
Neighbourhood in Singapore, Centred on busy Arab Street, Kampong Glam is known as Singapore’s Muslim Quarter. It's 19th-century shophouses have been turned into stores selling textiles and casual restaurants serving spicy Malay and global fare. Notable landmarks here include the golden domed Sultan Mosque and the Malay Heritage Centre, where exhibits focus on local history. Clothing boutiques, street art and trendy cafes line Haji Lane.
Marina Bay Sands is an integrated resort fronting Marina Bay in Singapore and a landmark of the city. At its opening in 2010, it was deemed the world's most expensive standalone casino property at S$8 billion (US$6.88 billion). The resort includes a 2,561-room hotel, a 120,000-square-metre (1,300,000 sq ft) convention-exhibition centre, the 74,000-square-metre (800,000 sq ft) The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands mall, a museum, a large theatre, "celebrity chef" restaurants, two floating crystal pavilions, art-science exhibits, and the world's largest atrium casino with 500 tables and 1,600 slot machines. The complex includes three towers topped by the Sands Skypark, a skyway connecting 340-metre-long (1,120 ft) with a capacity of 3,902 people and a 150 m (490 ft) infinity swimming pool, set on top of the world's largest public cantilevered platform, which overhangs the north tower by 66.5 m (218 ft). The 20-hectare resort was designed by Moshe Safdie architects.
The Gardens by the Bay is a nature park spanning 101 hectares (250 acres) in the Central Region of Singapore 🇸🇬, adjacent to the Marina Reservoir. The park consists of three waterfront gardens: Bay South Garden (in Marina South), Bay East Garden (in Marina East) and Bay Central Garden (in Downtown Core and Kallang). The largest of the gardens is the Bay South Garden at 54 hectares (130 acres) designed by Grant Associates. Its Flower Dome is the largest glass greenhouse in the world.
Amazing! Thank you for this information 🫶🏼
you can have cheap food here, only vehicle alcohol cigarette expensive
Yes this was just our first day, after this we ate at hawker centres and found some really good priced ones 😊🙏🏼
25 pounds? Holy cow
Yup, we ate at hawker centres the rest of the trip 😂 still cheaper than U.K. prices though 😩
Oh No not Philippino
What's that supposed to mean?
Don’t add music in background
🫶🏼🫶🏼
Bring your cash! The most expensive city in Asia.
Hahaha yupppp and it adds up quick
Compare and contrast. A foreign tourist in Malaysia is treated like a king spending money into our Malaysian economy. While a foreign tourist in Singapore is suspiciously looked upon as someone trying to take their jobs.
