A guy in scotland had 2 morbark model 30s drum chippers and those things could load a trailer in about 14 mins from front to back . And its packed in . We used to move the chips from the forrests in cuttainside trailers and when u reached the plant and opened up ur curtains very few chips fell down. U could see the waves of diffrrent timber chips the way it blew them in . Plus most of the time u got ur weight on no probbs . 28 tonnes of chips and more everytime . The guys chippers ran cat v8s rated at 1100 horsepower u had to do something fairly drastic to choke it . Great machines i recall .
