- This 8 mile hike in the Lake District Southern Fells takes in two Wainwrights.
Long, STEEP ascent to Sca Fell, with a rough finish of boulders & loose scree.
Pathless descent from Slight Side, then somewhat vague & boggy until back on the bridleway from Burnmoor Tarn.

I was going to do these two Wainwrights from Wha House, but you've gave me another option. Thanks for sharing
The first time I did them was from Wha House, via Fox’s Tarn. That’s a LONG route (before I started filming too). Although this one is STEEP and a bit pathless & potentially boggy, I think I actually preferred it. Let us know which route you go for. Oh, and benefit of Wha House is you don’t have to fork out £9 to park!
good stuff lad, i used the same way down from slight side, was maybe me that made a faint path haha... the route down doesn't appear to be on maps but gentil enough decent, apart from bogs at the bottom..

@@TonysTrails nah, to be honest i only just remembered about it watching this.. av seen it on other peoples videos but it must be in the opposite direction of the 'shortcut' descent route
