I'm not saying ice dance will never evolve and improve but they're definitely going down in history as one of the best teams of all time. Also who ever choreographed that 'S Wonderful twirl section deserves a cookie. It's so adorable and expressive of these two.
Aw, it's so sweet they went with Funny Face =D! V/M move so effortlessly together because of of their technique and skating with deep edges. So glad to see them back and lined up to do Grand Prix circuits, Nationals and Worlds. It's easy for some to criticize V/M because they're currently one of the biggest known ice dancing pairs and won Olympic Gold. They forget how tough V/M's road has been because of Tessa's injuries and rather talk about how "overrated" they are.
Are you joking? This is fun and liight, focusing on the Audrey Hepburn character. It is also very difficult with a multiude of changes in hold, incredible edges & speed, beautify body positions. While DW's program lovely -- it was like watching an extended CD. They were also very overmarked.
Yeah, I think Davis and White have them beat in the FD, but Virtue/Moir have an edge in the SD. When do they compete against each other this season? Should be exciting!
@waihibeach09 IA. D/W's program was kind of generic. They skated it very well but still don't connect to the music and to each other. They skate very fast but aren't graceful.

such deceptively difficult transitions. full stop right before a spin and so many changes of hold while showing the character of the music
