What an unkind, unCanadian statement. Meryl is a very beautiful person. We owe it to V&M and D&W to show them the same respect that they have for one another. Just as Tessa has had to overcome pain and injury, Charlie deals with asthma which likely cost them the gold at home in Colorado. As these couples suffer the imperfections of life, while perfecting their sport, we can all hope to be inspired and more appreciative of the strengths and weaknesses of ourselves and others. So take care.
Firstly, do I have to be Canadian to be fans of Tessa and Scott? I am sure their fan base extends outside the border of Canada. Secondly, I am sure Meryl is a lovely person. How I feel about her looks may not be kind but, it doesn't change the fact that looking at her drives me insane. I was once a figure skater. I know what it takes to achieve their level of success. I did not have the talent and I don't begrudge those who do.
ya i agree, but I find Meryl pretty in a weird way, idk how she would look in real life, but in interviews without the crazy makeup on she is oddly beautiful, its just my opinion, very unique compared to the general blonde, white and blue eyes thing, its hard to tell waht her race is, which i find cool
Humans do not find everyone attractive. Some people can be attracted to one person while others may not be. I was not insulting her character or saying she is an awful person. I was simply stating that to me, she is very unattractive which ruins their skating for me. Sorry if I offended you.
Even if Davis and White weren't competition for Tessa and Scott, I still would have zero interest in them. I totally agree they have no chemistry but, the clincher for me is having to look at Meryl's huge head and elongated face. She looks like a bobble head doll.

D&W are great skaters in their own right, but it does drive me crazy every time I see them at the beginning of any program of theirs; like when they put their smiling faces on for the close-ups, they always, always make me think of them - Meryl D. in particular - as Anonymous On Skate! To this very day, I haven't been able to figure out the reason why!
I’ve never seen them do a full run through during practice before. This program was so very good!
Their compulsory sections are the best in the world -- such speed and deep edges - love them!
I personally think that Virtue/Moir are the best show dancers :).
