WHEN I get one-- I want to FIRST--- do a POWER STOP brake system upgrade. I've heard too many say the brakes aren't the best on these...

Hey did you end up using the "brake tool to press 4 piston" linked in the description? Skimmed the video twice and never saw it used

@@neverfinding2703he didn’t clean anything - he added a second shim plate for no reason, I bet there’s rubbing - he didn’t line the pins - he used a screwdriver against the rotors, and he’s keeping the rotors - he didn’t even seat the right side of the rattle clip..
that’s just a few notes from one pass through the video.
      Will they work? Sure..
      Is it right…?

Yea...you had an impact. Jack the car up first. Get it secured....then take the lugs off. If using a breaker bar you loosen the nuts slightly then lift it up. Do not do it the way this kid did. Very unsafe!

You are damaging your rotors that way.

@@ellenmarie2079 using a screwdriver against the rotor to push the pistons back. Better to use the old pad and the pliers to push them in.

@@ellenmarie2079 in some cases prying against the rotor like that you could leave dents, cuts, or marks from the screw driver. If you were doing rotors then you don't need to worry about it because obviously you will have new rotors. But you were very careful you will be good. Also new pads with old rotors tend to wear weird on some cases, I've always either replaced rotors or turned them on a brake lay. But awesome video!

I had a tire fall off and took like 4 inches off of one side of my rotor from grinding on the concrete. Got everything back together and drove it the rest of the day like that. Would have never known anything was wrong it you didn’t see it. I promise you a tiny dent from a screw driver isnt going to hurt anything
