I would’ve loved to see them in a smaller setting like this. I went to see Tool back in 2006, who were touring in support of the 10,000 days record. Out comes this opening band called Isis that we’d never heard of and they blew us away. Alas, it was in an arena and we were nowhere near this close to the stage. Incredible night nonetheless. Been a fan ever since!
My first exposure to them as well on that Tool tour. Saw them at a small venue 20th century theatre in Cincinnati in 2009 I think. Heavy show. I’ll never forget that one.
