    We put it up saturday and have caught and killed 19 so far! Its doing good and keeps us from having to run them down with dogs etc.. Effective trap with effective placement and it provied us with reults and one happy farmer so far!

    How many total hogs were in the sounder? Did you video their reaction at the trap entrance and document how many hogs actually entered the enclosure vs. the total number still standing outside? Of course the farmer is happy because you captured some pigs. But have you solved his long term problem? Not if you missed four pregnant sows ready to birth 28 more piglets. We are curious to know if you have a video camera on the bait site to provide you with this information.

    Jared- Does Texas A&M AgriLife Extension offer video evidence of the entire sounder being captured using the trapping method described? Shouldn't we be teaching farmers and landowners to remove the entire sounder (in the shortest time possible) to prevent reproduction and education of feral hogs on their property? I would like to hear Phillip Stough report back with his capture percentage after using a Figure-C corral trap in Florida and Alabama. 100% capture is the performance standard Phillip.
