Depends how vintage! I've seen stuff from the 50s and 60s in thrift stores, even easier if you like the 80s or 90s. It might not be Dior or Gucci, but you can own a vintage dress for $20!

Another great vignette, Doris, thank you for bringing style and fashion for me to aspire to as I've been shrouded in sweats and leggings the past three months. The sunny weather is inspiring me to look into my closet again and dress up just to walk to the UPS store. I feel better already, fashion does that, it up lifts my mood. Look forward to more vignettes. I'd love to see an episode on cocktail dresses, along with the popular cocktails of that era, perhaps with a recipe so the viewer can recreate one for ourselves.

The black dress is stunning! I've always loved the Lanvin logo. I have a Lanvin red plastic compartmented box with a gold base that my father used for his cufflinks. He died in 1966.

The black dress is stunning! I've always loved the Lanvin logo. I have a Lanvin red plastic compartmented box with a gold base that my father used for his cufflinks. He died in 1966.
