Any experienced UA-camr knws that UA-cam never follows its own rules, they don't care about the content creatores that don't have more than 1 million subs.
Hell, I know of UA-camrs over a mil who’ve gotten fucked over. Good example, Dead Meat. James kept having issues with his Child’s Play Recounts, and it ending up scewing up his schedule for the year. They really don’t care, unless it’s a massive money maker like Mr. Beast, no offense to him.

my guy, you and SO many people. markiplier, 8bitryan, jacksepticeye, a LOT of big and incredibly popular youtubers have put videos out talking about this. youtube is REALLY not taking care of the people generating their revenue, this is not only inconsistant but is also poorly communicated so no real correction can be made.
Content creators should file class action lawsuits against UA-cam for this kind thing. They should clearly and concisely explain why your content is blocked. Also, they need to maintain monetization on your product until the violation is verified properly. Basically, UA-cam needs their ego and pockets hurt. Fix your policies!

It seems like this is becoming a more and more common thing recently. I remember SummoningSalt (He documents world records for speedrunning) makinga a similar video, where they took a video of his and age-restricted it for basically no reason. It also tanked his engagement, and even after appeals, I don't think the status of the video was ever fixed. This platform seems so frustrating, so thank you to Nik for still bringing us content here.

I almost got age restricted for saying the word "damn" in a video. I got an email saying that it was "inappropriate content". I appealed it, never got a reply, and they didn't say anything else about it. I don't even make content ½ as spicy as yours. It's just car stuff.

UA-cam’s age restriction is absolutely broken. I have a video that has close to 12 million views that was age restricted after it blew up (which was several years after posting it). What is the video? My little pony characters green-screened over the Gangnam Style music video. It makes no sense, it never made any sense, UA-cam is just garbage and has been garbage for a while.
UA-cam is ridiculous most of the time. For example everyone reacts to lorna stuff and its fine, I get the videos blocked worldwide. It's a russian roulette at this point
