Kerala is an entirely different state with its beautiful nature, educated youngsters and richness. (Richness is because huge remittance of gulf money, 75% of people are rich to run their daily life but Govt is in big debt & always running on loan, bcz over interference of politics and labour unions). Kerala could be one of the great tourist places in the world, if they are well planned.

mate what wrong in gulf money .india itself has such low salary standard where minimum wages are jot ensured for our educational youth .and gulf is way closer for any one from south india and way more accesible... when its comes to economics its not an industrial state...That being said central government itself is running in loans there is nothing wrong is borrowing money .even america is in debt, its just that we ordinary people dont understand world economics as such ..so chill..agree to what you said there is way more potential for tourism

It's all connected. Kerala has given good quality primary education to most of it's citizens and that created an issue that Kerala people need white collar jobs. You will not see such a strong public education system anywhere in India. I think Delhi is doing some progress in education system which has been there in place in Kerala for ages. All of these reasons make people of Kerala think to get more salary what India is not able to provide. That's why they go to gulf countries. This created a lot of small job opportunities in Kerala Low skilled jobs are done by mostly the other state people in Kerala nowdays. You will still see poverty in those States which show low debt or high economy. Indian economy is not an actual indicator of it's richness.

That fruit which you tastes is called "Indian hog plum". Mostly this is used for pickle and put in salt water like "salt mango". Baby hog plum is very good and can eat with salt directly.

At 7.03 What you saw was RED PALM.It is NOT BAMBOO.Red palms are decorative palms for gardens, a bit costly once as they were imported.

There are no coconut tree climbers even by use of mechanization.

Coconut is expensive in Kerala because the coconut farmers have to get the minimum support price for the coconut they sell..So even if Kerala is full of coconuts, the coconut farmers need to be supported. And people have no problem getting coconut as in every house there would be 2 or 3 coconut trees. It's only people who take rented houses need to buy coconut from the market.
