Awesome. I would have been lost without this! I have an SD card from an old phone and I was wondering how to insert it in my new A54 as the phone guy said the phone isn't meant to be opened!
You sont need to orient the phone to keep the card from falling, instead insert the card properly into the tray so that it snaps in. I found it best to lead the card into the tray contacts edge first, then press the opposing end down.
I've never added a memory card. I watched your video, very interesting. However I want to add a new memory card (nothing on it). What do I do once I have card inserted into phone. I have the pop up you talked about, however it says no files (which there shouldn't be, since it's new). Where do I go from there? I want to put my pictures and videos on this new card. Can you walk me through this process? I'm not a tech person, so help is much appreciated. Thanks

sure! i've been using a poco x3 pro with 256gb and I still have around 90gb used, so i think it depends how much u use the phone, but i still recommend you google photos or some external storage

The phone realistically only has a 2 to 3 year shelf life before the performance degrades.

That's a good question. I was told this phone can hold 2 sims...so where does the second one go f the SD card is on the other side?
When I install a new memory card, will the phone format it?
When you format a SD card does that wipe the info off of it?

Just bought a samsung EVO 520 gb card and its not reading it. ...
After inserting the memory card, have you tried restarting the phone?
I would think by now that they could figure out some better way to do the Sim and SD cards.
