I sold my PS2 / Gamecube / PSP collection about ten years ago when I moved from one city to another. Got about $200 for it. I had all the games you might expect. I don't really regret it because at the time I needed the money and I haven't really felt the need to replace them since. I do however, spend a lot of time trying to emulate my old collection on these new handhelds that keep dropping.
Love the game room! A compact room is cozy and far more realistic for most of us. It's such a well-utilized space that looks great and allows your favorites to shine, definitely an inspiration for my future room. As a side note, I would pay good money for those Animal Crossing tree statues!

Oh the nostalgia of those nes games. Legend of Kage. 👏🏼👏🏼 all my Atari, NES, SNES, and N64 games and consoles were destroyed in a flood when I was a kid. I have been slowly trying to get it all back the last few years.
Sorry for your loss! Though the cartridges may decay, the memory lingers on. l Hope you find some good deals getting those games back.
Damn, REALLY liked the custom Gouki statue and Mega Man face to go with the helmet! Never would have known the face wasn’t a normal part of it!

Most of us would be lucky to have a 12x10 room to stash our collection. This is a PRIME example of what can be done with that space. Thanks for sharing. Definitely 🐐 level if you ask me.

I really like this game room. All the pieces that you or others have created really stand out, and show love and care from their creators. It gives a nice artistic statement to your room too! I cannot believe it has been over a year since I discovered this channel! Time flies so fast! I this room still holds up, but I think it would be cool to get another tour with all the updates you've made over the last year! I hope to one day have my own house that I can decorate however I want without having to worry about things like not losing my deposit

Well, since you mentioned it, I've already filmed the next tour 😉. Just need to edit. But I've been extremely busy lately with travel. Went to Japan for 10 days and am currently traveling for a family wedding.

I'm late to the party but this room is so great and organized. And you sound kind :)
I personally chose to downsize my collection and only keep enough items (CDs, mangas, games, scale figures, comics and other collector items) to fill a single ikea fourniture/cabinet shelves and I panick at the idea of having a a compact room but here it looks so well put together and actually surprisingly not too crowded.
Aw thanks! As long as you feel comfortable in your space, that's what matters. For me, it was fun figuring out how I was gonna lay everything out and make it not seem congested.

I just tried to buy back every game I had as a kid and teen. Fortunately I did this from 2011-2013 when you could still buy games like Silent Hill and Parappa the Rapper for $5 at a retro game store. It's much harder now.

I love seeing how all of the shelves are displayed! Love seeing different figures/statues/games and everything else come together. Looks great! And the lights really make the room look awesome! Love those custom Shoes that you painted. Very cool!

Idk what to call this sensation but my eyes opened wide when I saw the mario mushroom stitch. My ex gf made a charmander stitch for me - with what looks like the same set - and I have it framed in a very similar wooden frame in the same color 😂😂

This looks amazing. I’m trying to build a “retro cave” with video games, action figures, comic books, MAD magazines, and a 1-up TMNT mini arcade cabinet. My space is smaller than yours, closer to 9’x10’. My wife is confident I don’t have enough space but after seeing your space, I have a few ideas on how to do a better job. Thanks!!

@@Daxle The cabinet you built for the NES cartridges is something I hope to shamelessly steal... I have a series of in-box collectibles / action figures, and something like that (but re-scaled) could help me display everything without taking up a whole wall. Take care!!

Cool Game Room. Brings back memories. I was also a kid who would sell his games. I was not bright and now I'm very regretful. I had Saturn bomber man n got it for $23 bow in stores ita $1500. 😢. But if u really want more games or Consoles. I myself have extra N64s and a Sega Dreamcast and atuff.

@@Daxle Thanks. We had expensive games. Maybe if you have the manuals the games must be around somewhere. Like in you old traveling Lugages. There where i found my old bulls jersey andn1 game and 2 old toys.

A smaller, well-planned and illuminated room looks way better to my eyes than a massive storage room. Also, in a smaller space there is not as much room for mediocre crap - every game in a small room gets more likely played, every figure is more likely to be really special, every detail has a bigger influence.

Thanks! Yeah I tried to retro bright my SNES and that didn't go so well as you can see lol. But the shell is so busted up anyway I'm thinking of getting a clear replacement shell for it.

Not a bad idea. Idk I'd have to toy with some ideas. I like how some people put LEDs in the clear shell as well. Or perhaps tint the shell atomic purple 🤔

I’m sure you know this but in case, LEGO released some Mario LEGO’s. While can be pricy, some Mario LEGOs are so cool and if you have have space and interested, you should get some. The Lucky Block from Mario 64 LEGO set is cool, and the Mighty Bowser is sick as well.

Oh yeah the Nintendo and Lego collaboration has been awesome. I wanted to get just the characters from the Mario set. But you have to also buy the levels and platforms. Wish it was sold separately.
I almost got the question mark block one but decided I'd rather spend that money on other stuff for the collection. But it is so cool!

I had nes games more than now and I wish I never throne away in the dumpster NES carts and then keep them missing Disney game out of all of my thrown away and captured them again next day. Now I wish I had all my old nes games back

I am very impressed by your creativity. Your compact room looks really good! I think I would change the controller wall, because you could maybe, put another arcade in that place. You have a real talent for making your own helmets, masks and figures. I want to see how you make them. Keep up the good work!

@@Daxle not 100% sure if it’s the one, but I believe the one mentioned is a special edition Furby designed as pikachu and another meowth one. So might not be it if it doesn’t talk, but it looks identical to it. I’ll look for the video so you can check it out.

Ohhh ok cool. Nice vid. I had to look it up. The one I have is called the Pokemons Trainers choice Pikachu. It's basically like a furby. Ears move, cheeks light up, and talks to you when it detects sound or you squeeze its hands. But it's only worth $50ish out of the box. And about $200 boxed.
