Shrimp Pasta

  • Ingredients:
    1 small onion, finely chopped
    300 g jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
    Salt and pepper, to taste
    1 tbsp turmeric powder (optional)
    227 g tomato basil pasta sauce
    227 g noodles (linguine or spaghetti)
    Instructions:
    Cook Pasta:
    1-Cook noodles in boiling water until al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water. Add a pinch of salt and a bit of olive oil, mix well, and set aside.
    Cook Shrimp:
    2-Sauté the onion in 1 tbsp of vegetable oil until soft and translucent.
    3-Add turmeric and mix well.
    4-Add shrimp to the onions and season with salt and pepper.
    5-Pour in the tomato basil sauce, simmer for 15 minutes.
    6-Add the cooked pasta to the shrimp and sauce, tossing to coat.
    7-Serve immediately, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
