Thx. Been using PCs since 1985 & NC WS Builder has a steep learning curve. Not beginner friendly at all, much harder & sensitive compared to MS Publisher, Word, Etc. eg How do you paste a pic into a box without it pushing everything away as well as changing existing text boxes into wacky shapes?? eg how do you edit the pic's wrapping style so it floats over or under text?? How do you give menu items drop down list boxes (sub menu selections)? Where is teh help button? etc Its like being back in the 90's when desk top publishing software started & were buggy.

Thanks for this. How do you change the looks of the menu on mobile, not in the middle but on the right or left?
Greetings! Just tried this to make sure it would work correctly. From the website builder, I clicked mobile at the top to bring up the mobile view of the page. I clicked the hamburger menu icon and it pulled up the area surrounding it in blue. Showing 20 px all the way around it. Click into the blue 20 px area on either side and drag it left or right to move it to the right of the page or left of the page.

Greetings! Here are some things to try. Check DNS Settings. Make sure that your domain name is correctly pointed to the hosting server's IP address. DNS changes can take some time to propagate, so if you've recently made changes, it might take a while for them to take effect. Another thing to try is to Clear Browser Cache. Sometimes, your browser may be showing you a cached version of the website. Try clearing your browser cache and then revisiting the site.

To add GA4 Tracking Code, paste the GA4 tracking code provided by Google Analytics into this section. To add GTM Container Code, find the option in Namecheap's website builder to add custom code. Greetings! I've done some digging around and from what I can see the from email when using Namecheap must be from a domain that is currently hosted on Namecheap servers. My recommendation would be to reach out to Namecheap to see what they can do. There's a chance that the above isn't entirely correct but I did see quite a bit of people saying this.
Hi! please could you explain me how to change the publish settings to draft so that my website is not shown if it is still under construction? by mistake I clicked publish and it is not ready yet, I have to make many changes to the page and it looks very bad on the web when I do the search (I'm working with website builder) :(
I don't see a way to unpublish once you publish the site. You could temporarily make each page non-indexable from search engines. Just go to the Settings tab at the top within the editor and click Pages and under the General tab you can click do not index site.

For full control with sign up, login system, and admin profile Namecheap and using WordPress with them will give you the best results with managing a website like this as any customizations you want you can make. The Namecheap website builder should be able to handle this but offers more basic customizations.

My apologies in the late response. Just seeing this. My apologies. The plugins can only be accessed via WordPress and not Namecheap website builder. With the Namecheap website builder you are limited in functions and features.
How important is the auto backup?
The auto backup isn't to important. Namecheap does backup your site from time to time. You can manually do a backup of your site. The auto backup could come in handy by automatically backing up your site and allowing you to restore with a click of a button in case you mess something up on your site or it gets hacked.
@@wpcupidblog let me ask you this, so I created and published a website. It works fine for awhile, but sometimes when I go back, it shows a plan white page mentioning a blog. Why does this keep occurring until I republish the page again?
My apologies on the late response. Somehow I missed it and didn't get notified. You can try clearing your browser cache and cookies to ensure you're loading the latest version of your website. This could be causing this to happen. If this doesn't fix it I'd reach out to Namecheap to see if something else is going on.

Greetings! I just re-checked and still see the coupon code as being active for domain names. They have it promoted everywhere on their site as well. I do know the coupon is only for new customers and for select domain extensions. .com being the big one. Very strange as to why it would say that unless it was from one of the things mentioned above.

@@annesguerra2513 You're welcome! Hostinger has faster site speed. So if you want a site to perform better Hostinger is a great choice. Both Hostinger and Namecheap offer free domain privacy with domain names. The renewal of the domain with Hostinger is a few bucks more per year. If site speed is important Hostinger is great. If that isn't the biggest concern Namecheap is definitely great and cheaper. Let me know if you have any other questions!

@@annesguerra2513 Absolutely! You can buy a domain name with Namecheap and then point the domain to Hostinger. I do this on my own sites and demo sites. It's really easy. If you do go that route I can give you the steps here if needed so it's fast and easy. You can also do the second option where you can transfer the domain a little before the 1 year is up over to Namecheap. I'd just make sure to do it a little before the expiration date so you don't run into where you could lose it. Both options will work!
