If I’m ever in the Vancouver area, looks like I’ll have to head to Richmond if I want to get footage. That bus driver is an absolute idiot for putting all of the passengers at risk by running that red light. And it’s always funny how Smart Car drivers end up being anything but smart!

My old company shared the same business park complex as K-Trans Logistics. I wasn't too impressed with their employees' driving within the complex's own parking lot either... A few close calls because they drove so recklessly (despite having large trucks coming and going out of the loading bays).

Nah. Your pal Jarod drifted into the wrong lane in one clip. You can see the white suv in the right lane when the clip starts before the light changes. That intersection has four lanes. Two going left up Keith road and two going right along marine/3rd street. Jarod is in the left right lane. He should have stayed in the left lane. I will give him the fact that intersection has recently been repaved and the lines are not fully painted or clear. But it was still Jarod’s fault.
I see this all the time at that intersection, the person in the center lane drifts into the wrong lane. You should watch that again cause Jarod was totally in the wrong there! The guy on the outside lane does nothing wrong.

Life is about weighing risks, some people find riding worth it, some do not. Do you ask everyone that sends you in a car clip why they drive when 1,768 canadians are killed every year in car accidents? I dont think you do. Do you ask people why they walk down sidewalks when 300 people die every year by just being a pedestrian? probably not. What if that guy you messaged back, died in a motorcycle accident next week? is that "what your doing is dangerous" comment going to sit well with you?

You can't shoulder check in a truck like you can in a car because you have limited vision in the cab, the nearside of a truck you can only see what is in that mirror, it's impossible to do a shoulder check on the nearside unless you have "X-RAY" vision mate!! A shoulder check can be done though if the truck is a flatbed and providing that it isn't carrying a load.
If only bubble mirrors were the answer, Sadly bubble mirrors do not completely eliminate blind spots, especially when the car in question is ahead of the mirror position on the truck. Any driver who chooses to drive on the nearside of a truck SHOULD remember this. that anywhere from about mid door to the front of a truck you can NOT be seen in the mirrors which makes you and your car invisible. So if you still want risk being run off the road or even worse being hit by the truck...…...PLEASE feel free!!!

No unfortunately police don't accept dashcam footage. Also if the driver disputed it you would have to attend court unpaid.

You can't shoulder check in a truck like you can in a car because you have limited vision in the cab, the nearside of a truck you can only see what is in that mirror, it's impossible to do a shoulder check on the nearside unless you have "X-RAY" vision mate!! A shoulder check can be done though if the truck is a flatbed and providing that it isn't carrying a load.
