I’ve got some error while making the circular pattern of the fillet, then it was solved by checklist the geometry pattern at the bottom. It’s a really helpfull video for my homework, thanks
Instead of making an involute profile, you have drawn a simple arc which is completely wrong. Also you are confused between Dedendum and working depth In reality Dedendum is greater than working depth by clearance value which you just reversed. Please correct these otherwise anyone watching this video will be totally confused
It clearly does not. He used a constrained circle arc, that' s all. That' s weird, because he knows about the pressure angle, but he clearly doesn't touch the involute aspect of the curve, which is definitively not a circle arc. I think it's more a gear for viz and whatnot than anything
It's a little too late now but anyway, the equation basically said if the module variable's value is greater than or equal to 1.25 mm, then let that if statement resolve to 2.25 or else it will resolve to 2.4. this number will then multiply with the module that was mentioned before the if condition.
There is some problem with this design method. When i make two gears of same type with this method, and match there pitch circles, the teeth of both gears overlap each other indicating a problem in this design.
for gear profile you had created a sample arc, in Engineering there are some rules and constraints to create an inter changeable gears , it seems that you don't studied engineering proper way. can you explain is this gear inter changeable, will it produce constant speed. you know solidworks 3d modelling very well but that is not the qualifications for design a gear well please correct this video or remove the video otherwise younger peoples may be misleaded
This design is not suitable for real life uses, as every gear with different teeth count turns out different teeth shape and not meshing properly. Wasted my time to only find out this. real gear design is so more complicated but thanks i guess
You are great sir! I'll suggest everyone your channel for learning solidworks instead of any institution.
Aside from involute issue, at ~12:26 you replaced the calculated 0.5mm with a fixed number so it will break if the module is changed from 2mm.
this is my daily exercise to not loose practice. much complete! it is well developed!!! congratulations!!!
Excellent work, clear and understandable demonstration. Thank you very much.
Very good guide if you're doing multiple gears. Changing just a couple parameters is flexible👍

It’s a really helpfull video for my homework, thanks
Thanks! It helped
Thanks a lot it helped me too I have been trying 5 times already thinking I made a mistake should have read this comment before
Thanx, it helped

True
Very informative video. Thanks for sharing.
Very important and informative video
So we used a 3 point arc to define the shape of the tooth. My question is with all the constraints, is this producing an Involute gear tooth?
It clearly does not. He used a constrained circle arc, that' s all. That' s weird, because he knows about the pressure angle, but he clearly doesn't touch the involute aspect of the curve, which is definitively not a circle arc. I think it's more a gear for viz and whatnot than anything
Nope. This is a cartoon of a gear tooth, not a real involute tooth form. The result will NOT function as a proper gear.
You can make a proper involute gear tooth by using parametric equations of an involute circle to define that arc instead
good video but is the tooth profile is true involute curve?
Great Tutorial, Thankyou.
EXCELLENT TUTORIAL VERY WELL EXPLAINED TUTORIAL LEAVING NO DOUBTS .THASNKS A LOT.
COOL DESIGN WITH SPUR GREAR IN SOLIDWORKS TUTORIAL
Sir aap nhi hote to kya hota 🙏🙏 amazing session design sikhna easy krdia.. Mere liye to
if you want to know how to get module number is == Pitch/3.14(pi)
Interesting, sadly this doesn’t show how to create an involute curve.
All good. Fairly.
It's done ✅
We have shared
Excellent tutorial! Thank you!
plz make one for bevel gear also
Can I change the dia of the circle with these equations
Weldon sir👍👍👍
Thanks Nice your video
great job
sir what if my module is 0.6 and number of teeths are 84 now how should i use the if statement in this case?
hi I can't trim 12:05 as you show, can you help me why I can't trim that?
facing same issue
@CADCAMTUTORIAL Please answer people's questions sir.
sir one problem is not to understand plz help the problem is module * if (module =>1.25,2.25,2.4) I don't understand plz guide me thnxxs
Yes, I'd like to get an answer of that also
Is me ye sab equation he sab kuch sem rahe ga but only acoding to need modal change hoga
Same here I'm not getting that 0.5 distance

Thank you so much sir
Excellent tutorial! Thank you! I would suggest, however, that slow down just a bit.
plz make video for worm gear sir....many thanks ...
on 7:40 = module , not 2 * module
Good Example.
Sir please make a video of the same for fusion 360
Sir how can download soildwork 2020🙏🙏🙏
???
From getinto pc
PLEASE PROVIDE INTERNAL GEAR DESIGN IN SOLIDWORKS,
MODULE =3, NO OF TEETH = 18, PRESSER ANGLE = 20 DEG, OD = 90, THICKNESS = 22
How to measure backlash in gears mating
Extrude cut through all both doesn’t work how to correct it?
excelent video teacher but i have aquestion i can to use for create on cnc fo real part?
excseme if module is more than 2.25 is other formule??
Outer diameter= pitch diameter+2*module.
But you entered number of teeth + 2* module. How? Please explain
it's (number of teeth + 2)*module = number of teeth * module + 2*module which is same as u said
Thank you sir for the information
Good work sir, I also have the world 🌍 best tutorials on CATIA and Solidworks
Thank you very much
how to calculate module 4mm
Sir ji everything is understood but what is parenthesis , how to select please let me know sir
Is this 20 DP?
THANK YOU!!!!!
Sketch is fully defined before apply Pressure angle 😥😥😥😥
I don't know and that arc also does not match with this sketch !!
Plz anyone help me
Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well done.
"Module"*if( "Module" => 1.25,2.25,2.4) formula not working in SolidWorks
Thank you

Hallo !!!
Hahahaha thought you said something else @ 2:42
The concept is correct but you are using the wrong terminologies
